INTEGRAL Discovery of a Burst with Associated Radio Emission from the Magnetar SGR 1935+2154
Sandro Mereghetti,V. G. Savchenko,Carlo Ferrigno,Diego Götz,Michela Rigoselli,Andrea Tiengo,Angela Bazzano,Enrico Bozzo,Alexis Coleiro,Thierry J.-L. Courvoisier,Maeve Doyle,Andrea Goldwurm,Lorraine Hanlon,Elisabeth Jourdain,Elisabeth Jourdain,A. von Kienlin,Alexander A. Lutovinov,Antonio Martin-Carrillo,Sergey V. Molkov,Lorenzo Natalucci,Francesca Onori,Francesca Panessa,James Rodi,J. Rodriguez,C. Sanchez-Fernandez,Rashid Sunyaev,Rashid Sunyaev,Pietro Ubertini +27 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported on the INTEGRAL observations of the soft gamma-ray repeater SGR 1935+2154 performed between 2020 April 28 and May 3.
Journal ArticleDOI
INTEGRAL observations of the cosmic X-ray background in the 5-100 keV range via occultation by the Earth
E. M. Churazov,R. A. Sunyaev,M. G. Revnivtsev,S. Sazonov,Sergey V. Molkov,S. A. Grebenev,C. Winkler,A. N. Parmar,A. Bazzano,M. Falanga,A. Gros,Francois Lebrun,Lorenzo Natalucci,P. Ubertini,J. P. Roques,L. Bouchet,E. Jourdain,J. Knoedlseder,Roland Diehl,Carl Budtz-Jørgensen,S. Brandt,Niels Lund,Niels J. Westergaard,Andrii Neronov,M. Turler,Maria Chernyakova,R. Walter,N. Produit,Nami Mowlavi,J. M. Mas-Hesse,A. Domingo,N. Gehrels,E. Kuulkers,Peter Kretschmar,Michael Schmidt +34 more
TL;DR: In this article, the spectrum of the cosmic X-ray background in the energy band 5-100 keV was obtained by using the modulation of the aperture flux due to occultation of extragalactic objects by the Earth disk, and the shape of the spectrum was consistent with that obtained previously by the HEAO-1 observatory.
Journal ArticleDOI
Boundary layer, accretion disk and X-ray variability in the luminous LMXBs
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used Fourier frequency resolved X-ray spectroscopy to study short term spectral variability in luminous LMXBs and showed that aperiodic and quasiperiodic variability on second-millisecond time scales is caused primarily by variations of the luminosity of the boundary layer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Boundary layer, accretion disk and X-ray variability in luminous LMXBs
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used Fourier frequency resolved X-ray spectroscopy to study short term spectral variability in luminous LMXBs and showed that aperiodic and quasiperiodic variability on ~ sec-msec time scales is caused primarily by variations of the luminosity of the boundary layer.
Journal ArticleDOI
INTEGRAL/IBIS survey of the Sagittarius Arm Tangent region: A source catalog
Sergey V. Molkov,A. M. Cherepashchuk,A. A. Lutovinov,M. G. Revnivtsev,Konstantin Postnov,R. A. Sunyaev +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, an analysis of the Sagittarius Arm Tangent region (SATR) images of the IBIS telescope onboard INTEGTRAL observatory during the spring of 2003 is performed.
