A refrigerating cycle device using carbon dioxide as refrigerant capable of solving such a problem that when a receiver is installed against a low pressure, a cost and a volume are increased by a pressure resistant design to assure safety, wherein a first pressure reducing device (12) and a second pressure reducing device (15) are operated to vary the refrigerant pressure of a first heat exchanger (13) so as to regulate the refrigerant hold amount of the first heat exchanger, whereby since the unbalance of the amount of refrigerant between cooling and heating/dehumidifying can be reduced, the refrigerating cycle device can be efficiently operated with a downsized receiver or without installing the receiver.

An indoor unit (100) includes a casing (1) having a suction port (2) formed on an upper portion and a blow-out port (3) on a lower side of a front surface portion, an axial-flow or mixed-flow fan (20) provided on the downstream side of the suction port (2) in the casing (1), and a heat exchanger (50) provided in the casing (1) at a position on the downstream side of the fan (20) and on the upstream side of the blow-out port (3). The heat exchanger (50) includes a plurality of fins (56) arranged side by side with predetermined gaps therebetween and a plurality of heat-transfer tubes (57) penetrating through the plurality of fins (56). The heat exchanger is configured in such a manner that the air-flow resistance of an area facing the outer peripheral side of the fan (20) is larger than the air-flow resistance of an area facing a center portion of the fan (20).

A modular multi-channel tube heat exchanger includes a plurality of aluminum heat exchanger modules selectively connected in fluid communication by interconnecting tubing. Each heat exchanger module includes an aluminum inlet header, an aluminum outlet header and a plurality of aluminum heat exchange tubes extending longitudinally therebetween. Each of the plurality of heat exchange tubes may have a plurality of flow paths extending longitudinally in parallel relationship from an inlet end thereof in fluid communication with the inlet header to an outlet end thereof in fluid communication with the outlet header.

An outdoor air conditioner unit is connected to indoor units by a gaseous refrigerant communication pipe and a liquid refrigerant communication pipe. The outdoor air conditioner unit is provided with a gas-side shut-off valve and a liquid-side shut-off valve. The gas-side shut-off valve has a pipe connecting port to which the gaseous refrigerant communication pipe is connected. The liquid-side shut-off valve has a pipe connecting port to which the liquid refrigerant communication pipe is connected. In a plan view, the pipe connecting ports are offset from each other in both the depthwise direction and the widthwise direction. Thus, the outdoor air conditioner unit is configured to reduce interference between the refrigerant pipes connected to the gas-side and liquid-side shut-off valves of the outdoor unit.

SOLUTION: This air conditioning system for rolling stock comprises the propeller fan 1 set with a rotating shaft vertical, and a heat exchanger 3 arranged on the side of the propeller fan and constituted to pass the air driven by the propeller fan. A substantially truncated conical guide member 5a having a minor diameter-side end surface opposed to the downstream face of the boss part of the propeller fan 1 is provided on the downstream side of the propeller fan 1 concentrically to the propeller fan 1, and the outer diameter of the minor diameter-side end surface is set larger than the outer diameter of the boss part of the propeller fan 1.

The axial-flow fan is arranged in the manner that the bottom end of the fan is above the upper end of the heat exchanger, and the outer circumference part of the fan overlaps with the upper end of the heat exchanger.

SOLUTION: The centrifugal fan is comprised of a boss attached to a rotary shaft, the shroud having a suction opening, the plurality of main blades arranged between the boss and the shroud and the suction bell-mouth installed on a fan suction opening side.
