The outdoor unit includes a base assembly defining a lower exterior of the outdoor unit and supporting a plurality of parts, left and right panels that are provided on the base assembly to define left and right exteriors of the outdoor unit, a pair of top panels that are provided between upper ends of the left and right panels to define a top exterior of the outdoor unit, a blower assembly including a blower fan generating air current and a motor providing a torque to the blower fan, a frame assembly supporting the blower assembly and including a pair of transverse supports interconnecting the left and right panels and a motor mount disposed between the pair of transverse supports to support the motor, and a shroud enclosing the blower fan and the motor and guiding airflow generated by the blower fan. The motor mount is received to an inside of the shroud.

A centrifugal ventilator fan, which has improved fan performance and lower noise. A first outlet angle, on an upstream end of the fan, is less than a second outlet angle. Additionally, the first outlet angle is equal to zero degrees or greater and five degrees or less, while the second outlet angle is equal to thirty degrees or greater and forty five degrees or less. Furthermore, a first inlet angle, on an upstream end, is greater than a second inlet angle, on the opposite end. The first inlet angle is equal to sixty-five degrees or greater and ninety degrees or less, and the second inlet angle is equal to fifty-five degrees or more and seventy-five degrees or less.

An indoor unit (100) includes a casing (1) having a suction port (2) formed on an upper portion and a blow-out port (3) on a lower side of a front surface portion, an axial-flow or mixed-flow fan (20) provided on the downstream side of the suction port (2) in the casing (1), and a heat exchanger (50) provided in the casing (1) at a position on the downstream side of the fan (20) and on the upstream side of the blow-out port (3). The heat exchanger (50) includes a plurality of fins (56) arranged side by side with predetermined gaps therebetween and a plurality of heat-transfer tubes (57) penetrating through the plurality of fins (56). The heat exchanger is configured in such a manner that the air-flow resistance of an area facing the outer peripheral side of the fan (20) is larger than the air-flow resistance of an area facing a center portion of the fan (20).

A heat-dissipating device includes a housing having an air inlet and an air outlet, and a blade structure disposed in the housing and having a hub and a plurality of rotor blades. The housing has an inwardly extending sidewall to define an accelerating airflow passage between the sidewall, the hub and the rotor blades for effectively increasing the airflow pressure and stabilizing the discharged airflow.

PURPOSE:To uniform the speed distribution of air impeller output so as to reduce blast noise without cost increase by making the rate of local pressure rise at the impeller outlet large on the shroud side. CONSTITUTION:A turbo fan includes an impeller formed of an approximately disc like boss 3 provided with a motor driving shaft fitting hole, an annular hub 4 extended at the outer periphery of the boss 3, blades 5 planted on one face of the boss 3 spirally around the hole, and a shroud 6 opposed to the boss 3 with the blades placed in between. From a center axis to a specified distance R position, the cross section of the blade 5 on the plane vertical to the center axis is placed forward in the rotating direction as it approaches the center part of the impeller and shows spiral shape proceeding to the center axis almost from the outer peripheral part of the impeller, and a part close to the outer periphery of the impeller from the specified distance R position is bent so as to vertically approach the outer peripheral edge of the impeller. Accordingly, the outlet pressure of air flow rises locally so as to obtain the large air quantity.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent false detection in a sensor from occurring caused by magnetic foreign material in a position detecting apparatus for a sliding seat. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises the sensor 27 provided in a seat S slidable along a floor 14 of a vehicle and a shielding member 23 made of magnetic material and provided in the floor 14. When the shielding member 23 shields in between a permanent magnet and a magnetic detecting unit of the sensor 27, it is detected that the seat S is located in the front-end position. By attaching a nonmagnetic cover member 24 to the shielding member 23, and, when the seat S is not located in the front-end position, providing the cover member 24 between the permanent magnet and the magnetic detecting unit of the sensor 27, false detection caused by jam and adhesion of foreign material or the like in the sensor 27 is prevented from occurring. SOLUTION: A lap side retractor 2 taking up right and left lap belts 3 of the four-point seat belt is constituted of a pair of take-up shafts 11a/11b in parallel with each other for taking up the each lap belt in a respectively opposing rotation direction, a pair of gears 12a/12b respectively provided on both take-up shafts so as to mesh with each other, and a torsion spring 13 elastically energizing one of the take-up shafts in a lap belt taking-up direction. As respective pay out amounts of the both lap belts coincide with each other and a joining position is constantly fixed, the joining positions of the shoulder belts with the respective lap belts are also constantly fixed, the shoulder belts can be prevented from being displaced in a lateral direction as often as the seat belt is put on, and restraint by the right and left shoulder belts at the time of collision is made uniform on the right and left to constantly secure the high holding property.
