Tohru Higuchi,Hiroshige Matsumoto,Tetsuo Shimura,Keiji Yashiro,Tatsuya Kawada,Junichiro Mizusaki,Shik Shin,Takeyo Tsukamoto +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the electronic structure in the band-gap region of protonic conductor SrZr0.90Y0.10O3-δ was studied by soft-X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS).
Journal ArticleDOI
Fermi level tuning of one-dimensional giant Rashba system on a semiconductor substrate: Bi/GaSb(110)-(2x1)
Takuto Nakamura,Yoshiyuki Ohtsubo,Naoki Tokumasu,Patrick Le Fèvre,François Bertran,S. Ideta,Kiyohisa Tanaka,Kenta Kuroda,Koichiro Yaji,Ayumi Harasawa,Shik Shin,Fumio Komori,Shin-ichi Kimura +12 more
TL;DR: The spin-polarized surface band of Bi/GaSb(110) exhibits quasi-one-dimensional character with the Rashba parameter of 4.1 and 2.6 eVA.
Journal ArticleDOI
Unoccupied Electronic State of SrTi1-xNbxO3 Observed by Inverse-Photoemission Spectroscopy
TL;DR: In this paper, the unoccupied electronic state of Nb5+-doped SrTiO3 (SrTi1-xNbxO3) has been studied by inverse-photoemission spectroscopy (IPES) and the IPES spectra exhibit three features, which correspond to the t2g- and eg-subbands of the Ti 3d state and Sr 4d state.
Journal ArticleDOI
In situ photoemission study of LaNiO3 thin films grown by pulsed laser deposition
K. Horiba,Ritsuko Eguchi,M. Taguchi,Ashish Chainani,A. Kikkawa,Yasunori Senba,Haruhiko Ohashi,Shik Shin +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the electronic structure of high-quality single-crystal LaNiO 3 (LNO) thin films using in situ photoemission spectroscopy (PES) was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Soft X-ray spectroscopy of diluted magnetic semiconductor Ga1−xMxN (M = Cr, Mn)
Tomoyuki Takeuchi,Yoshihisa Harada,Takashi Tokushima,Y. Takata,Ashish Chainani,J. J. Kim,Pingping Chen,Hisao Makino,Takashi Hanada,Takafumi Yao,Tetsuya Yamamoto,Takeyo Tsukamoto,Keisuke Kobayashi,Shik Shin +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed N 1s-2p soft X-ray emission (SXES) and N 1 s absorption (XAS) spectroscopy of recently discovered diluted magnetic semiconductor Ga 1−x M x N (M = Cr, Mn).
