Carbon-supported Pt–Fe alloy as a methanol-resistant oxygen-reduction catalyst for direct methanol fuel cells
A.K. Shukla,Rajiva Raman,Nurul A. Choudhury,K. R. Priolkar,P. R. Sarode,Shuichi Emura,Ryotaro Kumashiro +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was found that Pt-Fe/C alloy crystallizing in an ordered face centered tetragonal crystal structure with higher proportions of active-platinum sites and a completely different nearest neighbour environment than Pt/C exhibits significantly high oxygen-reduction activity in the presence of methanol.
Journal ArticleDOI
Extractions of Y@C60, Ba@C60, La@C60, Ce@C60, Pr@C60, Nd@C60, and Gd@C60 with Aniline
Yoshihiro Kubozono,Hironobu Maeda,Yasuhiro Takabayashi,Koji Hiraoka,Takeshi Nakai,Setsuo Kashino,Shuichi Emura,Shigeyuki Ukita,Toshiaki Sogabe +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported the successful extraction of Y@C{sub 60, Ba@C} sub-60, La@C {sub 60} with aniline under an air atmosphere.
Journal ArticleDOI
Infrared study of amorphous B1−xCx films
TL;DR: In this article, the vibrational properties of amorphous boron carbide films are studied by IR and Raman spectra, placing particular emphasis on the interpretation of the most prominent 1100 cm−1 band associated with the B-C bond.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optical-luminescence yield spectra produced by x-ray excitation.
Shuichi Emura,Toshihiro Moriga,Jun Takizawa,Masaharu Nomura,Karl Rudolf Bauchspiess,T. Murata,Katsuyuki Harada,Hironobu Maeda +7 more
TL;DR: A general formula for the optical-luminescence yield spectra arising from the core excitation is derived, making use of a simple phenomenological model.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation on lithium de-intercalation mechanism for Li1−yNi1/3Mn1/3Co1/3O2
Hironori Kobayashi,Yoshinori Arachi,Shuichi Emura,Hiroyuki Kageyama,Kuniaki Tatsumi,Takashi Kamiyama +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) measurements to verify the Li de-intercalation process in LiNi 1/3 Mn1/3 Co 1/ 3 O 2 cells.
