Comparative Studies on Haematological Values of Broiler Strains (Ross, Cobb, Arbor-acres and Arian)

TL;DR: It was showed that age affects significantly (P<0.05) the haematological profiles of the broiler strains and leukocytic parameters (except heterophils and H / L ratio) were significantly increased with increasing of age.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of safranal, a constituent of saffron, and vitamin E on nerve functions and histopathology following crush injury of sciatic nerve in rats

TL;DR: Inhibition of oxidative stress pathway may be involved in improving effects of safranal and vitamin E on functions and histopathology of an injured peripheral nerve.

Investigation of hematological and biochemical parameters in small ruminants naturally infected with Babesia ovis

TL;DR: Evaluated the effect of babesiosis on some hematological and biochemical parameters in infected small ruminants with B. ovis and found significant elevation of BUN, creatinine, cholestrol, triglyceride, HDL and LDL level were found with parasitemia progression.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of seminal oxidants and antioxidants in subjects with different levels of physical fitness

TL;DR: There are differences in seminal oxidants and antioxidants of elite athletes, recreationally active and non‐active men, more likely related to indices that favour decrement of oxidative stress‐induced peroxidative damage in spermatozoa from recreateationally active men.

Relationship between blood urea, protein, creatinine, triglycerides and macro-mineral concentrations with the quality and quantity of milk in dairy Holstein cows

TL;DR: BUN, SPtn, MUN and MPtn concentrations are the most effective indices for predicting the preferred milk yield, and are appropriate parameters in improvement studies related to the milk yield.
