Journal ArticleDOI

Light-induced cell damage in live-cell super-resolution microscopy.

TL;DR: This work applied single-molecule localization microscopy conditions and tested the influence of irradiation intensity, illumination-mode, wavelength, light-dose, temperature and fluorescence labeling on the survival probability of different cell lines 20–24 hours after irradiation.
Journal ArticleDOI

The CsrA-FliW network controls polar localization of the dual-function flagellin mRNA in Campylobacter jejuni.

TL;DR: A role for CsrA-FliW in spatiotemporal control of flagella assembly and localization of a dual-function mRNA is suggested and it is revealed that flaA mRNA is expressed and localized at the poles of elongating cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Serotonin-specific neurons differentiated from human iPSCs form distinct subtypes with synaptic protein assembly

TL;DR: This work describes an efficient generation of functionally active neurons from hiPSCs displaying 5-HT specification by modification of a previously reported protocol and describes the heterogeneous nature of dorsal and median raphe nuclei to facilitate examining the association of serotonergic neuron subpopulations with neuropsychiatric disorders.
