Journal ArticleDOI

Unique Cobalt Sulfide/Reduced Graphene Oxide Composite as an Anode for Sodium-Ion Batteries with Superior Rate Capability and Long Cycling Stability.

TL;DR: A facile solvothermal method to in situ decorate cobalt sulfide nanoplates on reduced graphene oxide (rGO) to build CoS@rGO composite is described, providing a facile approach to fabricate promising anode materials for high-performance SIBs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal structure of a superionic conductor, Li7P3S11

TL;DR: In this article, a synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction pattern was measured for a lithium superionic conductor, Li 7 P 3 S 11, which has a high conductivity of 3.2 × 10 − 3 ǫ s−cm −1 at room temperature and a low activation energy of 12 kJ−mol −1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Studies of lithium argyrodite solid electrolytes for all‐solid‐state batteries

TL;DR: Li et al. as discussed by the authors used argyrodite-type Li6PS5X (X,= Cl, Br, I) using mechanical milling followed by annealing.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrospun carbon nanofibers and their hybrid composites as advanced materials for energy conversion and storage

TL;DR: In this article, a review of the recent major advances in the controlled synthesis of electrospun carbon nanofibers (ECNFs) and the potential of the resulting hybrid composites for energy applications is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Relationship between bond valence and bond softness of alkali halides and chalcogenides

TL;DR: A systematic route to a more realistic estimate of b for alkali halides and chalcogenides is developed in this work from an empirical correlation between b and the absolute softnesses of the interacting particles.
