Quantum averaging for driven systems with resonances
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of resonances in driven quantum systems within the context of quantum averaging techniques in the Floquet representation are discussed, in particular iterative methods of KAM type and the extensions needed to take into account resonances.
Journal ArticleDOI
Laser control of the radiationless decay in pyrazine using the dynamic Stark effect.
TL;DR: It is shown, by solving the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for the molecule interacting with a relatively weak pump pulse driving the electronic excitation from the ground state to the B(2u)(ππ*) state, and a strong non-resonant control pulse, that this control mechanism can be used to trap the wavepacket on the B’s potential energy surface for a much longer time than the natural B(3u)(nπ*) lifetime.
Journal ArticleDOI
Theory of the bright-state stimulated Raman adiabatic passage
G. Grigoryan,Gor Nikoghosyan,Thomas Halfmann,Yevgenya Pashayan-Leroy,Claude Leroy,Stéphane Guérin +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the process of population transfer by stimulated Raman adiabatic passage through a bright state when the pulses propagate in a medium is described analytically and numerically.
Journal ArticleDOI
Robust stimulated Raman exact passage using shaped pulses
TL;DR: In this paper, single-shot shaped pulses were developed for ultra-high (UH)-fidelity population transfer on a three-level quantum system in $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}$ configuration.
