Journal ArticleDOI
The declining rotation curve of NGC 157
TL;DR: In this paper, strong evidence for an abrupt decline in the HI rotation curve of the isolated spiral galaxy NGC 157 was found, and various mass models to account for this, and the implications for the dark matter content of the galaxy were discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
The final months of massive star evolution from the circumstellar environment around SN Ic 2020oi
Keiichi Maeda,Poonam Chandra,Tomoki Matsuoka,Stuart D. Ryder,Takashi J. Moriya,Takashi J. Moriya,Hanindyo Kuncarayakti,Shiu-Hang Lee,Esha Kundu,Daniel J. Patnaude,Tomoki Saito,Gastón Folatelli,Gastón Folatelli,Gastón Folatelli +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the results of ALMA band 3 observations of a nearby type Ic supernova (SN) 2020oi, showing that the CSM structure deviates from a smooth distribution expected from the steady-state mass loss in the very vicinity of the SN, which is then connected to the outer smooth distribution.
MERLIN radio observations of two recent supernovae in Arp299 : SN2010O a SN2010P
R. J. Beswick,Miguel A. Pérez-Torres,S. Mattila,S. T. Garrington,Erkki Kankare,Stuart D. Ryder,A. Alberdi,C. Romero-Canizales +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the MERLIN radio observations of the two recent supernovae in Arp299, SN2010P and SN2010O (CBET #2145 and CBET # 2144, respectively), were made between 1900UT 29th Jan 2010 and 0150UT 1st Feb 2010 at 4994MHz.
