A cross-cancer metastasis signature in the microRNA-mRNA axis of paired tissue samples

TL;DR: The results suggest that cross-cancer metastatic samples have unique biomarker signatures when compared with paired primary tumours, and that these miRNA biomarkers can be used to predict both metastatic status and mRNA expression.
Book ChapterDOI

Determining Motion Components Using the Point Distribution Model

TL;DR: An extension to the PDM is proposed through a re-parameterisation of the model which uses factors such as the angular velocity and distance travelled for sets of points on a moving shape to enable non-linear quantities such as acceleration and the average velocity of the body to be expressed in a linear model by the model.
