Zeolite‐Encaged Single‐Atom Rhodium Catalysts: Highly‐Efficient Hydrogen Generation and Shape‐Selective Tandem Hydrogenation of Nitroarenes

TL;DR: This work synthesized single-atom Rh catalysts embedded in MFI -type zeolites under hydrothermal conditions followed by ligand-protected direct H 2 reduction and showed superior catalytic performance in shape-selective tandem hydrogenation of various nitroarenes by coupling with AB hydrolysis, giving > 99% yield of corresponding amine products.
Journal ArticleDOI

Subnanometer Bimetallic Platinum-Zinc Clusters in Zeolites for Propane Dehydrogenation

TL;DR: A ligand-protected direct hydrogen reduction method for encapsulating subnanometer bimetallic Pt-Zn clusters inside silicalite-1 (S-1) zeolite, which represents the best performance s to date for PDH conversions, promising their practical industrial applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Single-atom alloy catalysts: structural analysis, electronic properties and catalytic activities

TL;DR: This review will first outline the atomic scale structural analysis on single-atom alloys using microscopy and spectroscopy tools, such as high-angle annular dark field imaging-scanning transmission electron microscope and extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopic techniques, and progress in research to understand the electronic properties of single- atom alloys.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of anatase-free nano-sized hierarchical TS-1 zeolites and their excellent catalytic performance in alkene epoxidation

TL;DR: Nano-sized hierarchical titanosilicate TS-1 without extra-framework anatase TiO2 has been successfully synthesized by using Triton X-100 as a mesoporous template under rotational crystallization conditions as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Impregnating Subnanometer Metallic Nanocatalysts into Self-Pillared Zeolite Nanosheets.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate that self-pillared MFI zeolite (silicalite-1 and ZSM-5) nanosheets with larger surface area and abundant Si-OH groups are ideal supports to immobilize ultrasmall monometallic and various bimetallic clusters via simple incipient wetness impregnation method.
