TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyze recordings of the Mock Auction sales con and describe the various rhetorical and performative strategies employed by the seller/deceiver to accomplish sales success, and they show that the mock auction is, fundamentally, a social and interactional accomplishment.

Briging it all back home: some implications of recent science and technology studies for the classroom science teacher

TL;DR: In this paper, the benefits of teaching science as a social process is discussed and some suggestions that can be introduced by classroom teachers into pre-existing science curricula are discussed. But they do not propose either a comprehensive curricular framework or a report on a pilot classroom project, as their research perspective comes from science studies rather than from education.
