Pyrazolo(1,5-a)pyrimidine derivative

TL;DR: A pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine derivative represented by general formula (1) and having such a potent analgesic effect that it is useful as an analgesic, wherein R1 represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, cycloalkyl, thienyl, furyl, etc..
Journal ArticleDOI

Attenuation of fasting-induced phosphorylation of mitogen-activated protein kinases (ERK/p38) in the mouse hypothalamus in response to refeeding.

TL;DR: Refeeding rapidly reduced the fasting-induced phosphorylation of ERK, p38, and CREB, suggesting that the activation of these signal molecules in the hypothalamus is precisely regulated with feeding status.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of amitriptyline and gabapentin on bilateral hyperalgesia observed in an animal model of unilateral axotomy

TL;DR: The bilateral and systemic hyperalgesia observed in this axotomy model, which resembles the clinical features of chronic neuropathic pain, suggests the involvement of the central nervous system in the maintenance of the chronic pain state.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antinociceptive effect of the novel compound OT-7100 in a diabetic neuropathy model.

TL;DR: The results suggest that OT-7100 alleviates hyperalgesia in a diabetic neuropathy model in a different manner from gabapentin or aldose reductase inhibitor and may be a new treatment for the pain associated with peripheral nerve injury.
