Poor adherence to South African guidelines for the management of community-acquired pneumonia.
K Nyamande,Umesh G. Lalloo +1 more

Bollinger,Amita Gupta +23 more
TL;DR: Measuring C-reactive protein and CD4+ T-cell activation may identify patients with CD4-cell counts <300 cells per cubic millimeter at risk for early clinical progression when initiating cART, a subset of HIV-infected patients even after beginning cART.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison of HBV-active HAART regimens in an HIV-HBV multinational cohort: outcomes through 144 weeks.

TL;DR: TDF-based dual HBV-active antiretroviral therapy is preferred to treat HIV–HBV co-infected patients and in resource-limited settings in which TDF may not be universally available, lamivudine or emtricitabine HBV monotherapy is a reasonable option in patients with low HBV replication.
