TL;DR: It is currently unclear whether roadside drug testing reduces cannabis impaired driving, but it is believed that using a non-volatile substance such as cannabis or alcohol is more likely to be harmful than the substance itself.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored the personal characteristics of those who supported medical and recreational cannabis policies in Australia and found that people of older age were more likely to support medical cannabis legalization while those who support recreational cannabis use were younger.
