Journal ArticleDOI

Long-Term Cannabis Use and Cognitive Reserves and Hippocampal Volume in Midlife.

TL;DR: Cognitive deficits among long-term cannabis users could not be explained by persistent tobacco, alcohol, or other illicit drug use, childhood socioeconomic status, low childhood self-control, or family history of substance dependence.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simultaneous multiple comparison procedures in psychiatric research.

TL;DR: Methods are presented for using linear contrasts to make inferences about differences between the means of several populations on continuous dependent variables and how these methods can be adapted to the analysis of data from factorial analysis of variance research designs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Age differentials in the impacts of reduced heroin: effects of a "heroin shortage" in NSW, Australia.

TL;DR: A reduction in heroin supply was followed by greater reductions in heroin related harms among younger than older people, across a number of outcome domains.
Journal ArticleDOI

Initial indicators of the public health impacts of non-medical cannabis legalization in Canada.

TL;DR: This research focuses on the development of a strategy to address the underlying causes of substance abuse in young people aged between the ages of 18 and 25.
Journal ArticleDOI

An experimental investigation of convection heat transfer during filling of a composite-fibre pressure vessel at low Reynolds number

TL;DR: In this paper, the heat transfer process during filling of an evacuated vessel at low Reynolds number was investigated experimentally using air as the flow medium, and the data was analyzed using a thermodynamic model similar to one currently in use for the design of systems using commercial carbon fibre reinforced plastic vessels for storage of compressed hydrogen gas.
