Microwave-assisted Protein Preparation and Enzymatic Digestion in Proteomics

TL;DR: In this study microwave technology was used to develop a fast protein preparation and enzymatic digestion method for protein mixtures, which enabled preparation and digestion ofprotein mixtures in solution or in gel in 6 or 25 min, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Human urine proteome analysis by three separation approaches.

TL;DR: The urinary proteome is known to be a valuable field of study related to organ functions, but low molecular mass proteins have not been studied extensively and their post‐translational modification and degradation is unknown.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Chrysanthemum nankingense Genome Provides Insights into the Evolution and Diversification of Chrysanthemum Flowers and Medicinal Traits.

TL;DR: The analysis revealed that the evolution of the C. nankingense genome was driven by bursts of repetitive element expansion and WGD events including a recent WGD that distinguishes chrysanthemum from sunflower, which diverged from chrysantshemum approximately 38.8 million years ago.
Journal ArticleDOI

A comprehensive analysis and annotation of human normal urinary proteome.

TL;DR: In this paper, an in-depth analysis of the urinary proteome is presented based on different separation strategies, including direct one dimensional liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS), two dimensional LC/ MS/MS, and gel-eluted liquid fraction entrapment electrophoresis/liquid-phase isoelectric focusing followed by two dimensional Liquid Chromatography-MS-MS.
