Frontline Nurses’ Burnout, Anxiety, Depression, and Fear Statuses and Their Associated Factors During the COVID-19 Outbreak in Wuhan, China: A Big-Scale Cross-Sectional Study
Deying Hu,Yue Kong,Wengang Li,Qiuying Han,Xin Zhang,Li Xia Zhu,Su Wei Wan,Zuofeng Liu,Qu Shen,Jingqiu Yang,Hong-Gu He,Jiemin Zhu +11 more
TL;DR: The frontline nurses experienced a variety of mental health challenges, especially burnout and fear, which warrant attention and support from policymakers and future interventions at the national and organisational levels are needed.
Journal ArticleDOI
NSAID Sulindac and Its Analog Bind RXRα and Inhibit RXRα-Dependent AKT Signaling
Hu Zhou,Wen Liu,Ying Su,Zhen Wei,Jie Liu,Jie Liu,Siva Kumar Kolluri,Hua Wu,Yu Cao,Jiebo Chen,Yin Wu,Tingdong Yan,Xihua Cao,Weiwei Gao,Andrei Molotkov,Fuquan Jiang,Wengang Li,Bingzhen Lin,Hai-Ping Zhang,Jinghua Yu,Shi-Peng Luo,Jin-Zhang Zeng,Gregg Duester,Pei-Qiang Huang,Xiao-kun Zhang,Xiao-kun Zhang +25 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported that Sulindac, an NSAID, induces apoptosis by binding to retinoid X receptor-alpha (RXRalpha) in several cancer cell lines and primary tumors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Regulation of Nur77 expression by β-catenin and its mitogenic effect in colon cancer cells
Hua Wu,Ya-Yu Lin,Wengang Li,Zhe Sun,Weiwei Gao,Hai-Ping Zhang,Lei Xie,Fuquan Jiang,Bin Qin,Tingdong Yan,Liqun Chen,Yi Zhao,Xihua Cao,Yin Wu,Bingzhen Lin,Hu Zhou,Alice S.T. Wong,Xiao-kun Zhang,Jin-Zhang Zeng +18 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that Nur77 acts to promote the growth and survival of colon cancer cells and serves as an important mediator of the Wnt/β‐catenin and AP‐1 signaling pathways.
Journal ArticleDOI
Oncogenic Potential of Retinoic Acid Receptor-γ in Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Tingdong Yan,Hua Wu,Hai-Ping Zhang,Na Lu,Ping Ye,Feng-Hai Yu,Hu Zhou,Wengang Li,Xihua Cao,Ya-Yu Lin,Jia-You He,Wei-Wei Gao,Yi Zhao,Lei Xie,Jiebo Chen,Xiao-kun Zhang,Jin-Zhang Zeng +16 more
TL;DR: Overexpression of RARgamma plays a role in the growth of HCC cells through nongenomic activation of the PI3K/Akt and NF-kappaB signaling pathways, and results show that levels of R ARgamma were significantly elevated in tumor tissues from a majority of human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and in HCC cell lines.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Roles of GSK-3β in Regulation of Retinoid Signaling and Sorafenib Treatment Response in Hepatocellular Carcinoma.
Shuaishuai Zhang,Weiwei Gao,Juan Tang,Huaifang Zhang,Yuqi Zhou,Jie Liu,Kun Chen,Fangzhou Liu,Wengang Li,Sally K. Y. To,Alice S.T. Wong,Xiao-kun Zhang,Hu Zhou,Jin-Zhang Zeng +13 more
TL;DR: The findings demonstrate that GSK-3β is a disruptor of retinoid signalling and a new resistant factor of sorafenib in HCC and may be a promising strategy for HCC treatment in clinic.
