Journal ArticleDOI
Pathologic complete response of primary tumor following preoperative chemoradiotherapy for locally advanced rectal cancer: long-term outcomes and prognostic significance of pathologic nodal status (KROG 09-01).
Seung Gu Yeo,Dae Yong Kim,Tae Hyun Kim,Hee Jin Chang,Jae Hwan Oh,Won Park,Doo Ho Choi,Heerim Nam,Jun Sang Kim,Moon June Cho,Jong Hoon Kim,Jin-Hong Park,Min Kyu Kang,Woong Sub Koom,Jae Sung Kim,Taek Keun Nam,Eui Kyu Chie,Jung Soo Kim,Kyung Ja Lee +18 more
TL;DR: LARC patients achieving ypT0N0 after preoperative CRT had favorable long-term outcomes, whereas positive ypN status had a poor prognosis even after total regression of primary tumor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Exaggerated blood pressure response to exercise is associated with carotid atherosclerosis in apparently healthy men
Sae Young Jae,Bo Fernhall,Kevin S. Heffernan,Mira Kang,Moon-Kyu Lee,Yoon-Ho Choi,Kyung Pyo Hong,Eui Soo Ahn,Won Park +8 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that an exaggerated SBP response to exercise is strongly associated with carotid atherosclerosis, independent of established risk factors in healthy men, and may be an important factor in evaluating hypertension related to target-organ damage.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of lifestyle modifications on C-reactive protein: contribution of weight loss and improved aerobic capacity.
Sae Young Jae,Sae Young Jae,Bo Fernhall,Kevin S. Heffernan,Mihye Jeong,Eun Mi Chun,Jidong Sung,Sun Hee Lee,Yun Jeong Lim,Won Park +9 more
TL;DR: Lifestyle changes including regular exercise training in overweight and obese adults decreased hs-CRP, and this was associated with weight loss and improved Vo(2)peak.
Journal ArticleDOI
Long-term Survival Outcomes Following Internal Mammary Node Irradiation in Stage II-III Breast Cancer: Results of a Large Retrospective Study With 12-Year Follow-up
Jee Suk Chang,Won Park,Yong Bae Kim,Ik Jae Lee,Ki Chang Keum,Chang Geol Lee,Doo Ho Choi,Chang Ok Suh,Seung Jae Huh +8 more
TL;DR: Internal mammary node irradiation significantly improved DFS in postmastectomy breast cancer patients and, pending long-term results from randomized trials, treatment of internal mammary nodes should be considered in post Mastectomy radiation therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Arthroscopic treatment of chronic calcific tendinitis with complete removal and rotator cuff tendon repair
TL;DR: Clinical outcomes improved at a median 31 (range 24–45) months after surgery, and pain relief was achieved within 6 months of surgery in 30 of 35 patients, however, ten patients developed a secondary stiff shoulder.
