TL;DR: Comparing the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of patients with laboratory-confirmed influenza A or influenza B in the Republic of Korea found hypertension, diabetes, chronic lung diseases, cardiovascular disorders, and neuromuscular diseases were independently associated with hospitalization due to influenza.
