Journal ArticleDOI
Focal Irradiation and Systemic TGFβ Blockade in Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Silvia C. Formenti,Percy Lee,Sylvia Adams,Judith D. Goldberg,Xiaochun Li,Mike W. Xie,Josephine A. Ratikan,Carol Felix,Lin Hwang,Kym F. Faull,James Sayre,Sara A. Hurvitz,John A. Glaspy,Begoña Comin-Anduix,Sandra Demaria,Dörthe Schaue,William H. McBride +16 more
TL;DR: Patients receiving the higher fresolimumab dose had a favorable systemic immune response and experienced longer median overall survival than the lower dose group, and the higher dose correlated with improved peripheral blood mononuclear cell counts and a striking boost in the CD8 central memory pool.
Journal ArticleDOI
Risk of natalizumab-associated PML in patients with MS is reduced with extended interval dosing
Lana Zhovtis Ryerson,John Foley,Ih Chang,Ilya Kister,Gary R. Cutter,Ryan R. Metzger,Judith D. Goldberg,Xiaochun Li,Evan Riddle,Karen Smirnakis,Rachna Kasliwal,Zheng Ren,Christophe Hotermans,Pei-Ran Ho,Nolan Campbell +14 more
TL;DR: This study provides Class III evidence that for patients with MS, natalizumab EID is associated with a lower PML risk than SID.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of the TGF-β1 signaling abnormalities in the Gata1low mouse model of myelofibrosis
Maria Zingariello,Fabrizio Martelli,Fiorella Ciaffoni,Francesca Masiello,Barbara Ghinassi,Emanuela D'Amore,Margherita Massa,Giovanni Barosi,Laura Sancillo,Xiaochun Li,Judith D. Goldberg,Rosa Alba Rana,Anna Rita Migliaccio +12 more
TL;DR: Altered expression signatures of TGF-β1 signaling are identified that may be responsible for MF in Gata1(low) mice and may represent additional targets for therapeutic intervention in PMF.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phase 2 trial of everolimus and carboplatin combination in patients with triple negative metastatic breast cancer.
Jasmeet Chadha Singh,Yelena Novik,Stacey Stein,Matthew Volm,M Meyers,Julia Smith,Coral Omene,James L. Speyer,Robert J. Schneider,Komal Jhaveri,Silvia C. Formenti,Victoria Kyriakou,Benson Joseph,Judith D. Goldberg,Xiaochun Li,Sylvia Adams,Amy Tiersten +16 more
TL;DR: Everolimus-carboplatin was efficacious in metastatic TNBC and dose limiting hematological toxicity was observed when AUC5/6 of carboplatin is combined with everolimus, however, carboplarin AUC 4 was well tolerated in combination with Everolimus with continuing responses.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of a Genomic Signature of Pregnancy Identified in the Breast
Ilana Belitskaya-Levy,Anne Zeleniuch-Jacquotte,Jose Russo,Irma H. Russo,Pál Bordás,Janet Åhman,Yelena Afanasyeva,Robert Johansson,Per Lenner,Xiaochun Li,Ricardo Lopez de Cicco,Suraj Peri,Eric A. Ross,Patricia A. Russo,Julia Santucci-Pereira,Fathima Sheriff,Michael Slifker,Göran Hallmans,Paolo Toniolo,Alan A. Arslan +19 more
TL;DR: The results provide initial evidence that full-term pregnancy induces long-term genomic changes in the breast, and could be used as an intermediate marker to assess potential chemopreventive interventions with hormones mimicking the effects of pregnancy for prevention of breast cancer.
