Sequential Embedding Induced Text Clustering, a Non-parametric Bayesian Approach
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed sequential embedding induced Dirichlet process mixture model (SiDPMM) to exploit the sequential information of text and relationships among synonyms.
Book ChapterDOI
Enhance Performance of Ad-hoc Search via Prompt Learning
TL;DR: In this article , two types of prompts are tailored for the ad hoc search task based on various pre-trained language models, and the results on the MS Marco dataset show the credible better performance of the prompt learning method than fine-tuning based methods and another previous prompt learning based model.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced near-bottom circulation and mixing driven by the Surface Eddies over Abyssal Seamounts
Xiaohui Xie,Yan Dong Wang,Xiaohui Liu,Juan Wang,Dongfeng Xu,Tongya Liu,Jinlin Ji,Dongsheng Zhang,Chunsheng Wang,Dake Chen +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors identify a potential energy transfer pathway from surface geostrophic eddies to abyssal small-scale turbulence based on observations and numerical simulations of flows over seamounts in the northwestern Pacific Ocean.

A theory of neural integration in the head-direction system
TL;DR: This work addresses the question whether integration in the head-direction system is possible with slow synapses, for example excitatory NMDA and inhibitory GABA(B) type synapses and finds that correct integration during high-speed head rotations imposes strong constraints on possible network architectures.
