High resveratrol-loaded microcapsules with trehalose and OSA starch as the wall materials: Fabrication, characterization, and evaluation.

TL;DR: To improve the solubility and stability of resveratrol (Res), Res nanocrystals (Resncs) as the capsule core were prepared by wet milling using hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMCE5), sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVPK30) as stabilizers, along with trehalose and octenyl succinic anhydride (OSA) modified starch were used as the wall material to produce Res microcapsules (Res-mcs) via spray drying as mentioned in this paper .
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Pre-Stack Avo Tuning Effect Analysis and the Application on Hydrocarbon Detection

TL;DR: In this article , the influence of thickness of a single thin bed on AVO responses was analyzed for hydrocarbon detection in Bohai Oilfield, and the effectiveness of the method was proved by drilling outcomes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Diffeomorphic Deformation via Sliced Wasserstein Distance Optimization for Cortical Surface Reconstruction

TL;DR: In this paper , the sliced Wasserstein distance on meshes represented as probability measures was proposed to generalize the set-based approach, which can provide a fast statistical rate for approximating the surface of meshes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Based on functional materials and PLGA for the florfenicol controlled release system and its antibacterial properties

TL;DR: In this article , the authors used PLGA as the carrier of the florfenicol nanoparticles (FF-PLGA NPs) to improve water solubility and controlled drug release for achieving higher antibacterial activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Case report: Misdiagnosis of accessory spleen in the left adrenal region as an adrenal tumour after splenectomy

TL;DR: The accessory spleen was located in the adrenal region rarely, and can easily be misdiagnosed as an adrenal tumour, and when the cases show abnormal adrenal space-occupying lesions in imaging examinations, non-adrenal diseases should be considered.
