Journal ArticleDOI
Potential therapeutic effects of dipyridamole in the severely ill patients with COVID-19.
Xiaoyan Liu,Zhe Li,Shuai Liu,Jing Sun,Zhanghua Chen,Min Jiang,Qingling Zhang,Yinghua Wei,Xin Wang,Yi-You Huang,Yinyi Shi,Yanhui Xu,Huifang Xian,Fan Bai,Changxing Ou,Bei Xiong,Andrew M. Lew,Jun Cui,Rongli Fang,Hui Huang,Jincun Zhao,Xuechuan Hong,Yuxia Zhang,Fuling Zhou,Hai-Bin Luo +24 more
TL;DR: An anticoagulation agent dipyridamole (DIP) in silico, which suppressed SARS-CoV-2 replication in vitro, was identified and associated with significantly decreased concentrations of D-dimers, increased lymphocyte and platelet recovery in the circulation, and markedly improved clinical outcomes in comparison to the control patients.

Therapeutic effects of dipyridamole on COVID-19 patients with coagulation dysfunction
Xiaoyan Liu,Zhe Li,Shuai Liu,Zhanghua Chen,Zhanghua Chen,Zhiyao Zhao,Yi-You Huang,Qingling Zhang,Jun Wang,Yinyi Shi,Yanhui Xu,Jing Sun,Huifang Xian,Rongli Fang,Fan Bai,Changxing Ou,Bei Xiong,Andrew M. Lew,Jun Cui,Hui Huang,Jincun Zhao,Xuechuan Hong,Xuechuan Hong,Yuxia Zhang,Fulin Zhou,Hai-Bin Luo +25 more
TL;DR: HCoV-19 infected patients could potentially benefit from DIP adjunctive therapy by reducing viral replication, suppressing hypercoagulability and enhancing immune recovery.
Journal ArticleDOI
Decreased expression of HBA1 and HBB genes in acute myeloid leukemia patients and their inhibitory effects on growth of K562 cells
TL;DR: In vitro approaches showed that overexpression of HBA1 and HBB inhibited proliferation, induced cell apoptosis, and blocked cell cycle process at the G2/M phase in K562 cells, indicating that HBA 1 and H BB genes may be potential tumor-suppressor genes in acute myeloid leukemia.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comprehensive analysis of clinical prognostic features and tumor microenvironment landscape of CD11b^+CD64^+ patients with acute myeloid leukemia
Qian Wang,Ning Zhang,Li Liu,Linlu Ma,Yuxin Tan,Xiaoyan Liu,Jinxiang Wu,Guo-Liang Chen,Xinqi Li,Yuxing Liang,Fuling Zhou +10 more
Journal ArticleDOI
A novel organic arsenic derivative MZ2 remodels metabolism and triggers mtROS-mediated apoptosis in acute myeloid leukemia
Guopeng Chen,Wenyan She,Chaochao Yu,Tuerxunayi Rouzi,Xinqi Li,Linlu Ma,Nan Zhang,Hong-xing Jiang,Xiaoyan Liu,Jinxiang Wu,Qian Wang,Hui Shen,Fuling Zhou +12 more
TL;DR: The novel organic arsine derivative MZ2 exhibited excellent anti-tumor effects in acute myeloid leukemia, which may provide a potential strategy for the treatment of acute myELoid leukemia.
