Journal ArticleDOI
Hierarchically Porous Carbon Plates Derived from Wood as Bifunctional ORR/OER Electrodes.
Xinwen Peng,Lei Zhang,Zhongxin Chen,Linxin Zhong,Dengke Zhao,Xiao Chi,Xiaoxu Zhao,Ligui Li,Xihong Lu,Kai Leng,Cuibo Liu,Wei Liu,Wei Tang,Kian Ping Loh +13 more
TL;DR: As-fabricated cellulose-digested, carbonized wood plates are mechanically strong, have high conductivity, and contain a crosslinked network and natural ion-transport channels and can be employed directly as metal-free electrodes without carbon paper, polymer binders, or carbon black.

Hierarchically Porous Carbon Plates Derived from Wood as Bifunctional ORR/OER Electrodes
Xinwen Peng,Lei Zhang,Zhongxin Chen,Linxin Zhong,Dengke Zhao,Xiao Chi,Xiaoxu Zhao,Ligui Li,Xihong Lu,Kai Leng,Cuibo Liu,Wei Liu,Wei Tang,Kian Ping Loh +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, enzymes are explored to effectively hydrolyze the partial cellulose in bulk raw wood to form a large number of nanopores, which helps to maximally expose the inner parts of the raw wood and sufficiently dope nitrogen onto the carbon skeletons during the subsequent pyrolysis process.
Journal ArticleDOI
Controllable deuteration of halogenated compounds by photocatalytic D 2 O splitting
Cuibo Liu,Zhongxin Chen,Chenliang Su,Chenliang Su,Xiaoxu Zhao,Qiang Gao,Qiang Gao,Guo-Hong Ning,Hai Zhu,Wei Tang,Kai Leng,Wei Fu,Bingbing Tian,Bingbing Tian,Xinwen Peng,Jing Li,Jing Li,Qing-Hua Xu,Qing-Hua Xu,Wu Zhou,Kian Ping Loh,Kian Ping Loh +21 more
TL;DR: A mild photocatalytic strategy for controllable deuteration of halides using D2O as the reagent and porous CdSe nanosheets as the catalyst is reported.
Patent
A nitrogen-doped 3D porous carbon material and a preparation method and application thereof
TL;DR: In this article, a nitrogen-doped three-dimensional porous carbon material was proposed for battery catalysts, which has a high specific surface area, a multi-stage pore structure, good oxygen reduction and oxygen precipitation activities and high catalytic activity.
Patent
Nitrogen-doped 3d porous carbon material, preparation method therefor and use thereof
TL;DR: In this article, a nitrogen-doped 3D porous carbon material was used to obtain a 3D carbon material from eucalyptus wood and/or poplar wood.
