Carbon fluxes, evapotranspiration, and water use efficiency of terrestrial ecosystems in China
Jingfeng Xiao,Ge Sun,Jiquan Chen,Jiquan Chen,Hui Chen,Shiping Chen,Gang Dong,Shenghua Gao,Haiqiang Guo,Jixun Guo,Shijie Han,Tomomichi Kato,Yuelin Li,Guanghui Lin,Weizhi Lu,Mingguo Ma,Steven G. McNulty,Changliang Shao,Xufeng Wang,Xiao Xie,Xudong Zhang,Zhiqiang Zhang,Bin Zhao,Guangsheng Zhou,Jie Zhou +24 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors synthesized flux and micrometeorological observations from 22 eddy covariance flux sites across China, and examined the carbon fluxes, evapotranspiration (ET), and water use efficiency (WUE) of terrestrial ecosystems at the annual scale.
Journal ArticleDOI
Changes of daily climate extremes in southwestern China during 1961–2008
Li Zongxing,Yuanqing He,Puyu Wang,Wilfred H. Theakstone,Wenling An,Xufeng Wang,Aigang Lu,Wei Zhang,Weihong Cao +8 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper analyzed changes in twelve indices of extreme temperature and eleven of extreme precipitation at 110 meteorological stations in southwestern China during 1961-2008 and revealed statistically significant increases in the temperature of the warmest and coldest nights, in the frequencies of extreme warm days and nights, and in the growing season length.
Journal ArticleDOI
No trends in spring and autumn phenology during the global warming hiatus
Xufeng Wang,Xufeng Wang,Jingfeng Xiao,Xin Li,Guodong Cheng,Guodong Cheng,Mingguo Ma,Gaofeng Zhu,M. Altaf Arain,T. Andrew Black,Rachhpal S. Jassal +10 more
TL;DR: The results based on the satellite record show that phenology change rate in the northern hemisphere slowed down during the warming hiatus, and this has significant implications for understanding the responses of phenology to climate change and the climate-carbon feedbacks.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spatial and temporal trends of temperature and precipitation during 1960-2008 at the Hengduan Mountains, China
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed changes of temperature and precipitation in the Hengduan Mountains region during 1960-2008 and found that the significance of changes in precipitation during this period was low.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison of Eight Techniques for Reconstructing Multi-Satellite Sensor Time-Series NDVI Data Sets in the Heihe River Basin, China
TL;DR: The results indicate that the S-G, CW, and WS techniques perform better than the other tested techniques, while the IDR, M-BISE, and MVI techniques performed worse than theother techniques.
