TL;DR: New constraints on the dark matter-induced annual modulation signal are presented using 1.7 years of COSINE-100 data with a total exposure of 97 kg yr and best fit values for modulation amplitude and phase are observed.

Spooner,W. G. Thompson,Liang Yang,S.H. Yong +49 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the COSINE-100 experiment was used to determine whether there is evidence for an excess of events above the expected background in sodium iodide and to look for evidence of an annual modulation.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors report results from the initial operation of the COSINE-100 experiment, which uses sodium iodide as the target medium and is designed to carry out a model independent test of DAMA's claim.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thompson,Liang Yang,Gyun Ho Yu +52 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented new constraints on dark matter interactions using 1.7 years of COSINE-100 data, consisting of 106 kg of tallium-doped sodium iodide [NaI(Tl)] target material.

TL;DR: Limits on IBDM interactions under various hypotheses are presented to explore an area of the dark photon parameter space that has not yet been covered by other experiments, and no excess over the predicted background event rate is observed.
