When and how to manage enteral feeding intolerance
TL;DR: The study found no difference between ulimorelin and metoclopramide in the primary endpoint of percentage of daily protein prescription over 5 days of treatment, and there were no differences in the secondary endpoints of feeding success, gastric emptying assessed by paracetamol absorption, incidence of recurrent EFI, vomiting or regurgitation, aspiration, and pulmonary infection.

TL;DR: EPO appeared to specifically reduce cerebral deaths in the important subgroup of patients with a diffuse type of injury not requiring a neurosurgical intervention prior to randomization, and in this subgroup, fewer patients died of cerebral causes in the EPO than in the placebo group.
