High-speed molecular spectral imaging of tissue with stimulated Raman scattering
Yasuyuki Ozeki,Yasuyuki Ozeki,Wataru Umemura,Yoichi Otsuka,Shuya Satoh,Hiroyuki Hashimoto,Kazuhiko Sumimura,Norihiko Nishizawa,Kiichi Fukui,Kazuyoshi Itoh +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a label-free scheme was proposed for video-rate imaging of various types of biological tissue using stimulated Raman scattering microscopy, which offers molecular specificity and frame-by-frame wavelength tunability allowing the creation of 2D and 3D images of samples showing different constituents.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: This work presents a machine-intelligence technology based on a radically different architecture that realizes real-time image-based intelligent cell sorting at an unprecedented rate and is expected to enable machine-based scientific discovery in biological, pharmaceutical, and medical sciences.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis and experimental assessment of the sensitivity of stimulated Raman scattering microscopy
TL;DR: It is theoretically show that the shot-noise-limited sensitivity of stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) microscopy, which enables high-contrast vibrational imaging, is similar to that of coherent anti-Stokes Raman scatter microscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Label-free chemical imaging flow cytometry by high-speed multicolor stimulated Raman scattering.

TL;DR: This paper presents label-free multicolor chemical imaging flow cytometry based on stimulated Raman scattering (SRS), a highly sensitive method of molecular vibrational spectroscopy with the help of deep learning, which demonstrates high-precision characterization and classification of microalgal cells and cancer cells without the need for fluorescent labeling.
Journal ArticleDOI
Stimulated Raman scattering microscope with shot noise limited sensitivity using subharmonically synchronized laser pulses
Yasuyuki Ozeki,Y. Kitagawa,Kazuhiko Sumimura,Norihiko Nishizawa,Wataru Umemura,Shin'ichiro Kajiyama,Kiichi Fukui,Kazuyoshi Itoh +7 more
TL;DR: Subharmonically synchronized laser pulses are proposed and demonstrated for low-noise lock-in detection in stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) microscopy and high-contrast, 3D imaging of unlabeled living cells.
