Synthesis of PbS/polyacrylonitrile nanocomposites at room temperature by γ-irradiation
TL;DR: γ-Irradiation was successfully used to prepare nanocrystalline composites of PbS/polyacrylonitrile with 23 wt% lead sulfide at room temperature, in which the inorganic component displays homogeneous dispersion in the polymer matrix X-Ray powder diffraction and infrared spectra were used to characterize the product as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Amorphous magnesium phosphate flower-like hierarchical nanostructures: microwave-assisted rapid synthesis using fructose 1,6-bisphosphate trisodium salt as an organic phosphorus source and application in protein adsorption
TL;DR: In this article, a simple, one-step and low-cost microwave-assisted hydrothermal rapid synthesis of amorphous magnesium phosphate hierarchical nanostructures using fructose 1,6-bisphosphate trisodium salt as an organic phosphorus source has been reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Templated Synthesis of CdS/PAN Composite Nanowires under Ambient Conditions.
TL;DR: It is found that the feed mole ratio of CdCl(2) to AN exerts a significant influence on the formation and morphology of CcdS/PAN nanowires.
Journal ArticleDOI
A General Solvothermal Route to the Synthesis of CoTe, Ag2Te/Ag, and CdTe Nanostructures with Varied Morphologies
Ling Jiang,Ying-Jie Zhu +1 more
TL;DR: A general and facile surfactant-assisted solvothermal route was developed for the synthesis of CoTe, Ag 2 Te/Ag, and CdTe nanostructures using the corresponding metal salt, Na 2 TeO 3, ascorbic acid, and polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) or cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) in mixed solvents of ethanolamine and water.
Journal ArticleDOI
γRRadiation-hydrothermal synthesis and characterization of nanocrystalline copper powders
TL;DR: In this paper, the growth process of nanocrystalline copper particles into a single-crystalline form induced by electron irradiation, investigated by electron microscoopy, is reported.
