TL;DR: In this article, a support vector machine classifier was used to identify the K giant stars from the LAMOST survey directly using their spectral line features, and the completeness of the identification is about 75% for tests based on LAMA stellar parameters.

Searching for Variable Stars in the Field of NGC 7789
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of a time-series CCD photometric survey of variable stars in the field of the open cluster NGC 7789 were presented, and a total of 28 new variable stars were discovered (14 W UMa systems, nine EA-type eclipsing binaries, one RR Lyr star, and four unclassified).

Detection of gamma-ray emission from globular clusters M15, NGC 6397, 5904, 6218 and 6139 with Fermi-LAT
