Linking polythiophene chains with vinylene‐bridges: A way to improve charge transport in polymer field‐effect transistors

TL;DR: In this article, a series of branched polythiophene derivatives bearing different densities of vinylene-bridges as linking chains were synthesized by a general synthetic strategy, and the organic field effect transistors, which were fabricated by spin-coating the polymer solutions onto octadecyltrichlorosilane-modified SiO2/Si substrates with top-contact configuration, afforded a high mobility of 8.0 × 10−3 cm2 V−1 s−1 with an on/off ratio greater than 104 and a threshold voltage of about −
Journal ArticleDOI

External heavy atom effect on optical limiting performance of conjugated phthalocyanine pentamer

TL;DR: In this paper, a conjugated phthalocyanine pentamer was studied for optical limiting performance in different solvents and its fluence-dependent transmittance was measured using 10 ns, 532 nm laser pulses in a collimated optical setup.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rheological Behavior of Spinning Dope of Multiwalled Carbon Nanotube/Polyacrylonitrile Composites

TL;DR: In this article, a spinning dope of multiwalled carbon nanotube/polyacrylonitrile composites was prepared by in-situ polymerization in 50wt% NaSCN solution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photophysical properties and electroluminescent applications of donor–acceptor–donor functionalized red electroactive fluorescent materials

TL;DR: The twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) model is proposed by photophysical behaviors observed with increasing solvent polarity in this paper, which leads to a saturated red emission with emission peak at 623nm, narrow bandwidth of 75nm and an external quantum efficiency of 0.38%.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic LB films of bis-radicals (nitronyl nitroxide and imino nitroxide) substituted benzene with long alkyl chain

TL;DR: In this paper, a titled compound (1 ) was prepared and characterized using the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) technique with transfer ratio greater than 0.9 and the results from ESR and SQUID investigations indicate that the LB films of 1 possess antiferromagnetic properties at low temperature.
