Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, self-assembly, and solution-processed nanoribbon field-effect transistor of a fused-nine-ring thienoacene.

TL;DR: A new thienoacene with a sulfur-rich fused-nine-ring core was synthesized; bulk quantities of nanoribbons with mobilities as high as 0.42 cm(2) V (-1) s(-1) were obtained by a direct solution process under ambient conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation, Characterization, and Second-Harmonic Generation of a Langmuir-Blodgett Film Based on a Rare-Earth Coordination Compound

TL;DR: The rare earth coordination compound (E)-N-hexadecyl-4-(2-(4-(dimethylamino)phenyl)-ethenyl)pyridinium tetrakis(1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolonato)dysprosium(III) was synthesized as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phthalocyanine Monolayer-Modified Gold Substrates as Efficient Anodes for Organic Light-Emitting Diodes

TL;DR: A self-assembled monolayer (SAM) of 2,9,16-tri(tert-butyl)-23-(10-mercaptodecyloxy) phthalocyanine (HS-Pc) was employed as an anode in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lowering programmed voltage of organic memory transistors based on polymer gate electrets through heterojunction fabrication

TL;DR: In this paper, low operation voltage memory cells based on heterojunction ambipolar organic transistors with polymer gate electret (PGE) were used for memory devices, which showed reproducible and durable memory behavior.
Journal ArticleDOI

Triazatriangulene as Binding Group for Molecular Electronics

TL;DR: It was found that, despite the presence of a sp(3) hybridized carbon atom in the conduction path, the TATA platform displays a contact resistance only slightly larger than the thiols, which makes this binding group very attractive for molecular electronic measurements and devices.
