Ammonothermal growth of GaN crystals on HVPE-GaN seeds prepared with the use of ammonothermal substrates
Robert Kucharski,M. Zajac,A. Puchalski,Tomasz Sochacki,M. Bockowski,J.L. Weyher,M. Iwinska,Jarosław Serafińczuk,Robert Kudrawiec,Zbigniew Siemiątkowski +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of gallium nitride crystallization by ammonothermal method are presented and structural and optical properties of the obtained materials are studied and compared, and it is shown that a much more effective multiplication process of high quality GaN can be launched using a combination of the ammonothermal and HVPE methods.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sintered nanocomposites ZrO2-WC obtained with field assisted hot pressing
Edwin Gevorkyan,Tatiana Prikhna,Ruslan V. Vovk,Miroslaw Rucki,Zbigniew Siemiątkowski,Wojciech Kucharczyk,Vladymir Chishkala,Leszek Chałko +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the research results o nanostructural composite ZrO2-WC obtained with modified Field Assisted Sintering is described, where hot pressing processes were performed at different sintering temperatures using mixtures of different proportions of tungsten monocarbide, such as 10,wt, 20,wt% and 30,wt%.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization on White Etching Layer Formed During Ceramic Milling of Inconel 718
Adam Kruk,Agnieszka M. Wusatowska-Sarnek,Maciej Ziętara,K. Jemielniak,Zbigniew Siemiątkowski,Aleksandra Czyrska-Filemonowicz +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a comprehensive characterization of the near surface formed during the interrupted high-speed dry ceramic milling of IN718 was performed using light imaging, SEM/EDX, TEM and nano-hardness methods.
Journal ArticleDOI
Monitoring the Risk of the Electric Component Imposed on a Pilot During Light Aircraft Operations in a High-Frequency Electromagnetic Field
Joanna Michalowska,Arkadiusz Tofil,Jerzy Józwik,Jaroslaw Pytka,Stanisław Legutko,Zbigniew Siemiątkowski,Andrzej Łukaszewicz +6 more
TL;DR: Values of the electric component of electromagnetic field intensification determined with the ESM 140 dosimeter during the flights of four aircrafts and the maximum value registered by the dosimeter was E = 3.307 V/m for GSM 1800 frequencies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of the Electroconsolidation Process of Fine-Dispersed Structures Out of Hot Pressed Al2O3-WC Nanopowders.
Edwin Gevorkyan,Miroslaw Rucki,Zbigniew Krzysiak,Volodymyr Chishkala,Wojciech Zurowski,Wojciech Kucharczyk,Voskan Barsamyan,Volodymyr Nerubatskyi,Tomasz Mazur,Dmitrij Morozow,Zbigniew Siemiątkowski,Jacek Caban +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the fracture toughness of alumina-tungsten carbide nanocomposite and found that high heating rates and a short sintering time enabled the process to be completed in 12 min, saving energy and time.
