Journal ArticleDOI

Mussel polysaccharide α-D-glucan (MP-A) protects against non-alcoholic fatty liver disease via maintaining the homeostasis of gut microbiota and regulating related gut-liver axis signaling pathways

TL;DR: The results support that MP-A can prevent against NAFLD and act as an oral supplementation for hepatoprotection via modulating gut microbiota and related gut-liver axis signaling pathways.
Patent

Natural fruit and vegetable cleaning fresh-keeping agent and sue method thereof

TL;DR: A natural fruit and vegetable cleaning fresh-keeping agent comprises a film forming agent, a surfactant, an antibacterial agent and an ionic agent, which can remove pesticide residues, heavy metals and other toxic substances on the surface of fruits and vegetables, can eliminate and inhibit the bacteria growth, also can prevent moisture loss and corruption as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anti-Inflammatory Effects of a Mytilus coruscus α-d-Glucan (MP-A) in Activated Macrophage Cells via TLR4/NF-κB/MAPK Pathway Inhibition.

TL;DR: The study indicates that MP-A suppresses LPS-induced TNF-α, NO and PEG2 production via TLR4/NF-κB/MAPK pathway inhibition, and suggests that MP ( α-d-Glucan) may be a promising therapeutic candidate for diseases associated with TNF, NO, and/or PEG 2 overproduction.
Patent

Shrimp preservative containing pulullan polysaccharide

TL;DR: A shrimp preservative which comprises the following basic components: 0.5-50g/L of pulullan polysaccharide, 0.1g/l of nisin from streptococcus lactis and water as a solvent is described in this paper.
Patent

Epsilon-polylysine high-yielding strain and epsilon-polylysine production method

TL;DR: In this paper, an epsilon-polylysine high-yielding strain EA-19 is used to carry out fed batch fermentation culture, and the concentration of EPsilon polylysine in a fermentation liquid reaches 38.5-39 g/L. This strain is named as Streptomyces albus and the preservation number is CGMCC No.10156.
