Kinetics, isotherm, thermodynamic, and adsorption mechanism studies of La(OH)3-modified exfoliated vermiculites as highly efficient phosphate adsorbents

TL;DR: In this paper, a modified exfoliated vermiculite (La5EV) was fabricated, characterized, and investigated for phosphate removal in batch tests for the first time, and the effect of initial phosphate concentration, contact time, temperature, pH, and coexisting ions on the adsorption capacity of La5EV was investigated in detail.
Journal ArticleDOI

Facile hydrothermal synthesis of Bi2S3 spheres and CuS/Bi2S3 composites nanostructures with enhanced visible-light photocatalytic performances

TL;DR: In this paper, a soft chemical route was used to fabricate urchin-like Bi2S3 spheres and CuS/Bi2S 3 composite nanowires without the assistance of any templates or surfactants.
Journal ArticleDOI

One-pot synthesis of Fe(III)-coordinated diamino-functionalized mesoporous silica: Effect of functionalization degrees on structures and phosphate adsorption

TL;DR: Fe(III)-coordinated mesoporous silica adsorbents functionalized with different loadings of ethylenediamine groups were prepared by a new NH 4F-assisted co-condensation method and impregnation of Fe 3+ cations.

Molecular Dynamics Study of Interfacial Properties for Crude Oil with Pure and Impure CH 4

TL;DR: In this paper , molecular dynamics simulations were used to determine the interfacial tension (IFT) of pure and impure CH 4 with n-decane as well as the IFTs of the ternary systems CH 4 + n-hexane + ndecane and CH 4 plus n-nonadecane.
Journal ArticleDOI

Acid/reduction dual-sensitive amphiphilic graft polyurethane with folic acid and detachable poly(ethylene glycol) as anticancer drug delivery carrier.

TL;DR: In this article , a kind of acid/reduction dual-sensitive amphiphilic graft polyurethane with folic acid and detachable poly(ethylene glycol) (FA-PUSS-gimi-mPEG) micelles were synthesized by grafting folic acids and monomethoxy poly(methylene glyco glycol), which could self-assemble in aqueous solution to form negatively charged nanomicelles.
