Journal ArticleDOI
Electrical systems for pulsed electric field applications in the food industry: An engineering perspective
Rai Naveed Arshad,Zulkurnain Abdul-Malek,Abdullah Munir,Zolkafle Buntat,Mohd Hafizi Ahmad,Yanti Maslina Mohd Jusoh,Alaa El-Din A. Bekhit,Ume Roobab,Muhammad Faisal Manzoor,Rana Muhammad Aadil +9 more
TL;DR: The critical process parameters and the designing methodology of the specialized equipment required in food processing are described as a guide for the designers and the researchers of this technology.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ozone generation using atmospheric pressure glow discharge in air
TL;DR: In this article, a stable atmospheric glow discharge (SAGD) was used for ozone generation, using dry air as the feeding gas for ozone production, with a limitation of 3'mm on the maximum gap spacing for the dry air.
Journal ArticleDOI
Benefits of using carbon nanotubes in fuel cells: a review
Elnaz Akbari,Zolkafle Buntat +1 more
TL;DR: A carbon nanotube (CNT) is a nanoscale cylindrical tube formed from a single atomic layer of carbon atoms as discussed by the authors, which is known to possess several unique characteristics, including high thermal and electrical conductivity, superior mechanical strength and chemical stability, as well as a high surface area.
Journal ArticleDOI
Brief review of monolayer molybdenum disulfide application in gas sensor
TL;DR: In this paper, the present gas-sensing applications of monolayer molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) have been compared with other nanomaterials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analytical Calculation of Sensing Parameters on Carbon Nanotube Based Gas Sensors
Elnaz Akbari,Zolkafle Buntat,Mohd Hafizi Ahmad,Aria Enzevaee,Rubiyah Yousof,Syed Muhammad Zafar Iqbal,Mohammad Taghi Ahmadi,Muhammad Abu Bakar Sidik,Hediyeh Karimi +8 more
TL;DR: A model for a Field Effect Transistor (FET)-based structure has been developed as a platform for a gas detection sensor in which the CNT conductance change resulting from the chemical reaction between NH3 and CNT has been employed to model the sensing mechanism with proposed sensing parameters.
