TL;DR: In this article, a lower-baseline trough is connected by two quadrilateral bellcrank type lever or links, with the side walls of the trough inside a box-like housing which is open at the bottom and also has two side walls.
Abstract: An overhead baggage compartment has a lowerable trough, especially for a passenger aircraft, wherein the trough is connected by two quadrilateral bellcrank type levers or links, with the side walls of the trough inside a box-like housing which is open at the bottom and also has two side walls. A substantial weight compensation is achieved by pneumatic springs, whereby each pneumatic spring (14) works on an adjustable attachment point on the corresponding quadrilateral bellcrank link through a guide roller 15. During loading of the trough 3, its weight is so determined and the pneumatic spring 14 is so swivelled by a weighing lever 13, that the guide roller 15 is placed on the corresponding quadrilateral bellcrank link at an attachment point chosen according to the determined weight. It is a special advantage that closing of the baggage compartment only requires a minimal manual force which is largely independent of the weight of the trough.

TL;DR: This paper relates an industrial experience in the field of formal verification of avionics software products from Airbus, a pioneer in this domain, which has been integrating several tool supported formal verification techniques into the development process of avionic software products.
Abstract: This paper relates an industrial experience in the field of formal verification of avionics software products. Ten years ago we presented our very first technological research results in [18]. What was just an idea plus some experimental results at that time is now an industrial reality. Indeed, since 2001, Airbus has been integrating several tool supported formal verification techniques into the development process of avionics software products. Just like all aspects of such processes, the use of formal verification techniques must comply with DO-178B [9] objectives and Airbus has been a pioneer in this domain.

TL;DR: In this paper, a turbofan provided with a pre-cooler is described, where the precooler was connected to a discharge pipe in the inner fairing of the aircraft.
Abstract: The invention concerns a turbofan provided with a pre-cooler. The invention is characterized in that to evacuate the heated cool air stream (24), at least one discharge pipe (25) is arranged in the chamber (12) and connects the pre-cooler (18) to at least one discharge orifice (26) provided in the inner fairing (10), in output of the exhaust nozzle (3) and at least more or less opposite the wing (16).
