TL;DR: In this paper, a generalized long exposure turbulence modulation transfer function (MTF) was obtained for optical plane and spherical wave propagating through horizontal path in weak fluctuation turbulence, which was reduced to the classical generalized MTF derived from the non-Kolmogorov spectrum.
Abstract: A generalized exponential spectrum model is derived, which considers finite turbulence inner and outer scales and has a general spectral power law value between the range 3 to 5 instead of standard power law value 11/3. Based on this generalized spectrum model, a new generalized long exposure turbulence modulation transfer function (MTF) is obtained for optical plane and spherical wave propagating through horizontal path in weak fluctuation turbulence. When the inner scale and outer scale are set to zero and infinite, respectively, the new generalized MTF is reduced to the classical generalized MTF derived from the non-Kolmogorov spectrum.

TL;DR: This work functionalized the back-channel of IGZO-FETs with aminosilane groups that are cross-linked to glucose oxidase and demonstrated that these devices have high sensitivity to changes in glucose concentrations.
Abstract: Recent advances in glucose sensing have focused on the integration of sensors into contact lenses to allow noninvasive continuous glucose monitoring. Current technologies focus primarily on enzyme-based electrochemical sensing which requires multiple nontransparent electrodes to be integrated. Herein, we leverage amorphous indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO) field-effect transistors (FETs), which have found use in a wide range of display applications and can be made fully transparent. Bottom-gated IGZO-FETs can have significant changes in electrical characteristics when the back-channel is exposed to different environments. We have functionalized the back-channel of IGZO-FETs with aminosilane groups that are cross-linked to glucose oxidase and have demonstrated that these devices have high sensitivity to changes in glucose concentrations. Glucose sensing occurs through the decrease in pH during glucose oxidation, which modulates the positive charge of the aminosilane groups attached to the IGZO surface. The ...

TL;DR: To solve multiple-attribute group decision-making problems using interval intuitionistic fuzzy sets, a method based on extended TODIM is put forward, and a case that deals with the site selection of airport terminals is given to prove the method.
Abstract: For a multiple-attribute group decision-making problem with interval intuitionistic fuzzy sets, a method based on extended TODIM is proposed. First, the concepts of interval intuitionistic fuzzy set and its algorithms are defined, and then the entropy method to determine the weights is put forward. Then, based on the Hamming distance and the Euclidean distance of the interval intuitionistic fuzzy set, both of which have been defined, function mapping is given for the attribute. Finally, to solve multiple-attribute group decision-making problems using interval intuitionistic fuzzy sets, a method based on extended TODIM is put forward, and a case that deals with the site selection of airport terminals is given to prove the method.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the proposed method is reliable and flexible for indoor mobile robot navigation tasks and the measurement accuracy can be further improved by increasing layout density of landmarks.
Abstract: Position and orientation of indoor mobile robots must be obtained real timely during operation in structured industrial environment, so as to ensure the security and efficiency of cargo transportation and assembly precision. But for such a large-scale space, only 2-D coordinates and heading angle of the mobile robot can be measured with a relatively low precision in current major methods. This paper presents a novel method for 3-D position and orientation measurement of indoor mobile robot. In this method, a rotary-laser transmitter is utilized, which is mounted on the indoor mobile robot measuring the scanning angles relative to photoelectric artificial landmarks and obtaining its own 3-D space location information. The landmarks whose coordinates in navigation frame should be precalibrated are distributed at the most appropriate positions of the structured industrial environment. On the basis of that, an algorithm of multiangle intersection was established and in-depth discussed to solve transmitter’s spatial position and orientation. Experimental results show that, in an $8~ {\rm m}\times 6~{\rm m}\times 2.5$ m working volume, transmitter’s position, and orientation measurement accuracy of proposed method were higher than 3.8 mm and 0.104°, respectively. It demonstrates that the proposed method is reliable and flexible for indoor mobile robot navigation tasks and the measurement accuracy can be further improved by increasing layout density of landmarks.
