Abstract: The title compound, [Cu(C11H13Cl2N2O)(N3)]n, is an azide-bridged polymeric copper(II) complex. The Cu atom is penta­coordinated by one O and two N atoms of the Schiff base ligand and two bridging N atoms from two azide groups, forming a trigonal–bipyramidal geometry. The structure is further stabilized by an N—H⋯O hydrogen bond.

Abstract: OBJECTIVE This study is about the in vivo antivirus effect of baicalin. METHOD Adopting in vivo experiment, we administered one group of mice 2 days before infected with influenza virus (A/FM/1/47) , while administer the other group with baicalin one day after infected, to observe the effect of baicalin in protecting and curing mice against influenza virus. RESULT Baicalin can obviously prolong the survival time of mice infected with influenza virus (A/FM/1/47) (P <0.01), eliminate the influenza virus in lung, reduce the hemagglutination tite and infectivity in pulmo, and reverse mice's pneumonic pathological changes. CONCLUSION Baicalin can obviously counteract influenza virus.

Abstract: Objective: To study the chemical constituents of the fruit of Physalis alkekeng L. var. franchetii (Mast.)Makino.Methods: The extraction from the fruit of Physalis alkekeng L. var. franchetii(Mast.)Makino with 70% EtOH are successively extracted with p.e., CHCl_ 3 , EtOAc and n-hexane. The p.e. and CHCl_ 3 layers are isolated by the silica gel column with p.e.-acetone as eluant. Five compounds are isolated, and their structures are identified according to the spectral analysis and physicochemical characters. Results: Five compounds were separated and identified as four sterol and one . They are fat(Ⅰ),β-sitosterol(Ⅱ),4,7-didehydroneophysalin B(Ⅲ), physalin P(Ⅳ) and daucosterol(Ⅴ).

Abstract: OBJECTIVE To establish the method for determining the content of oridonin and rosemarinic acid in Rabdosia rubescens by HPLC. METHODS Using ODS-C18 column (150 mm x 4.6 mm, 5 microm), methanol-0.3% phosphoric acid (40:60), oridonin detection wavelength at 238 nm and rosemarinic acid at 329 nm. RESULTS The average recovery oridonin was 97. 1% and rosemarinic acid was 99.3%. Oridonin relative standard deviation (RSD) was 2.8% and rosemarinic acid was 2.9%. CONCLUSION This method can be used to determine the content of oridonin and rosemarinic acid in Rabdosia rubescens.

Abstract: Objective:To discuss the mechanism of effect of Shengmai decoction treating chronic heart failure.Methods:To divide randomly 40 case patients into treatment group and control group.20 control patients were treated with routine methods;the other 20 case patients combined with the Shengmai Decoction.Results:The symptoms of treatment group and their E/A improved,compared to the control group,the difference is big,P 0.05.Conclusion: Shengmai decoction can improve the symptoms of the patients of chronic heart failure and ventricular remodeling.It is better than medicine alone.

Abstract: Objective:To optimize the extraction procedure for active principles of Psoralea coryl- ifolia L.Methods:The extraction procedures by immersion,reflux,supersonic and rope extraction for psoralen and isoporalen from seeds of Psoralea corylifolia L.were compared.The psoralen and isoporalen were quantified by HPLC.The optimal extraction procedure was selected based on extract rate and total contents of psoralen and isoporalen from P.corylifolia.Results:The psoralen and isoporalen were extrac- ted utmostly by refluxing procedure in both solven-dependent and extraction time-dependent manner.The optimal extraction outcome was available when fourfold volume of 80% alcohol was refluxed with the raw materials of P.corylifolia for 2 hours.Conclusion:The optimal extraction procedure of psoralen and iso- poralen from Psoralea corylifolia was achievable.

Abstract: Object:To observe eye in view of acute brain stem dead patient nerve function damage and blood serum C-response protein level influence and discuss eye needle treatment acute brain stem dies possible mechanism.Method:Select 90 examples in our nerve internal medicine department of hospital who got sick less than 3 days from December 2005 to December 2006.Divide them according to the stochastic principle into the foundation treatment adding eyeneedles group and the foundation treatment comparison group.Use the nerve damage-function to grade the judgment of curative effect;Use immunity turbidimetry to quota the determination of blood serum C-response protein level.Result:Eye needle group:The total effectiveness was 82.22%,Comparison group:The total effectiveness turdimetry was 66.67%,they have remarkable differences after statistics processing.The prompt eye needle group curative effect surpasses the foundation treatment group.To the blood serum C-response protein content,eye needle group:From 28.24±6.02mg/L falls to 12.79±3.87mg/Land.Comparison group:From 27.98±5.74mg/L falls to 18.65±4.26mg/L.After treatment the two groups of content have remarkable differences by statistics processing.Conclusion:The eye needle reduces the acute brain stem dead patient blood's content of serum C-response protein level and it is possibly one of mechanisms how it treats the acute brain stem die.

Abstract: In the title compound, C16H17N3O3·H2O, the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 7.4 (6)°. The Schiff base unit is nearly planar, with a mean deviation from the plane of 0.089 (8) A. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked through intermolecular O—H⋯O, O—H⋯N and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming layers parallel to the ab plane.

Abstract: A HPLC method was established for the determination of scutellarin in rat plasma, and pharmacokinetics after ig administration of Yinshanlian granules were investigated. Baicalin was used as the internal standard. A C18 column was used, with the mobile phase of acetonitrile-tetrahydrofuran-0.4% phosphoric acid (15∶35 ∶150), at the detection wavelength of 335nm. The calibration curve of scutellarin was linear in the concentration range of 0.025 -0.16 μg/ml (r = 0.9946). The lower limit of quantifi cation was 0.025μg/ml. The RSDs of inter-and intra-day were less than 10%. The main pharmacokinetics parameters were as follows: cmax (0.765±0.158) μg/ml, tmax (3.67±0.47) h, t1/2 (10.78±2.63) h, AUC0-36 (7.66±1.63)μg·h·ml-1, AUC0-∞ (8.46±1.79)μg·h·ml-1.

Abstract: As early as in remote antiquity of China,people had recognized the attack of harmful parasites in nature to the human body.There was a character of "Gu" in inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells of the Yin-Shang Dynasty,which shows that,three thousand years ago,people had found the animals that live in the human body.Since the Warring States,the Qin and Han Dynasties,many kinds of parasitoses had been recorded in various medical classics,involving helminthic diseases,protozoal diseases and entomiases in the modern parasitology.Same of the records belong to the first in the world.The methods and drugs recorded for prevention and treatment of parasitoses are still of practical significance nowadays.All these should be explored and utilized.

Abstract: Objective:To observe the contentof Maleic Dialdehydeand the length of telomere in liver of rat with spleen Yin deficiency syndrome.To discuss the pathomechanismof molecule biology of spleen Yin deficiency syndrome.Methods:The rat of spleen Yin deficiency syndrome was moldedby composite factors of overstrainand intemperance of taking food etc.The methods of Thibabituric acid and Southern blotting were used to determine the contentof Maleic Dialdehydeand the length of telomere.Result: compared with normal control,the contentof Maleic Dialdehydein liver of rat with spleen Yin deficiency syndrome was increased and lenth of telomere was shortened.Conclusion: In the state of spleen Yin deficiency syndrome,the accumulation of free radical may damage the telomere,and that may result in telomere shortening in liver.

Abstract: Objective To study the HPLC fingerprint of Gushudan(traditional Chinese medicines) prescription,correlate the constituents with osteoblastic proliferative activity and find quality control indices.Methods The chromatographic conditions were as follows:DiamonsilTMC18(5μ,200 mm×4.6 mm) column;mobile phase:20 mmoL·L-1NaH2PO4 and CH3CN,gradient elution;column temperature:25℃;flow rate:1.0 mL/min;detection wave1ength:270 nm.Gushudan prescription was disassembled into 11 recipes according to the design of decomposed recipes.The fingerprint chromatograms of the recipes were completed by the HPLC method and the proliferative activity of osteoblast-like cells was assayed for each recipe.Regression and correlation analysis were applied to correlate the area of each peak and the activity data.Results There were 18 peaks in the fingerprint chromatogram of Gushudan prescription.The RSDs of precision,stability and repeatability were less than 3%.Nine peaks were correlated with the proliferative activity.Icariin from Herba Epimedii and naringin from Rhizoma Drynariae were selected as the quality control indices of Gushudan.Conclusions This study can be the base of the quality control and the investigation of compatibility for Gushudan prescription.
