TL;DR: This paper studies the consolidation method for mass data from multi-sources of land and resources, solves several key issues such as unified framework, data indexing, mass data storage etc and establishes three database including the original database, basic database, application database.
Abstract: There are a lot of land and resources data. However, it is difficult to share these data due to a variety of reasons such as lacking of unified standards, common semantics, diverse sources and independent management and etc. In this paper we analyze all data for land and resources, studies the consolidation method for mass data from multi-sources of land and resources, solve several key issues such as unified framework, data indexing, mass data storage etc. Finally three database including the original database, basic database, application database, are established and above the three databases a management system is built up. These efforts contributed to “a map” project's completion and the process of land and resources information of Chongqing Municipality.

TL;DR: In this article, the ground-based synthetic aperture radar (GBSAR) technique was used for emergency monitoring of a deep foundation excavation and the results indicated that the GBSAR technique is a suitable method of emergency displacement monitoring within a deep-foundation excavation and has several significant advantages.
Abstract: This paper presents an example of using the ground-based synthetic aperture radar (GBSAR) technique for the emergency monitoring of a deep foundation excavation. The process includes a quality evaluation for the interferometric data acquired by the IBIS-L radar from Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A. Atmospheric effects were eliminated through calibration with ground control points (two triangular reflectors) to improve the measuring accuracy of the emergency monitoring. Accuracy of the data obtained was then compared at six check points between the GBSAR technique and a Leica total station TC2003 with prisms. The results indicate that the GBSAR technique is a suitable method of emergency displacement monitoring within a deep foundation excavation and has several significant advantages. These include a higher level of accuracy, near real-time monitoring intervals, and site-wide displacement maps obtained for each observation sampling interval.

TL;DR: In this article, the spatial characteristics of the vegetation indices and LST are built, by which the temperature vegetation dryness index (TVDI) is calculated from the remote sensing images obtained on April 3-2001 and May 14-2007.
Abstract: Taking Xuzhou City as a study case, normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI),soil-adjusted vegetation index(SAVI),and land surface temperature(LST) are derived from Landsat TM/ETM+ remotely sensed data and then used to monitor drought status The spatial characteristics of the vegetation indices and LST are built,by which the temperature vegetation dryness index (TVDI) is calculated from the remote sensing images obtained on April 3,2001 and May 14,2007 The analyses of TVDI,LST,and rainfall show that TVDI can be used to monitor drought largely and the result of TVDI based on SAVI is better than that based on NDVI

TL;DR: Based on the representative MSL variation results, the vertical crustal movement velocity in the Qingdao national leveling origin area was derived and the deduced results are λ U=(+2.2±0.5)mm/a as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: The vertical crustal movement at a point derived by using the mean sea level(MSL) is a kind of appearent movement. Let the rise and fall of the multi year mean sea level be V, the vertical land movement be U,and the appearent vertical movement will be (U V). In this paper, it is suggested to pay attention to the regional and periodic variations of MSL in using the MSL data to deduce the regional vertical crustal movement. Based on the representative MSL variation results, the vertical crustal movement velocity λ U in the Qingdao national leveling origin area was derived and the deduced results are λ U=(+2.2±0.5)mm/a.

TL;DR: A Back Propagation (BP) network algorithm based Genetic Algorithm (GA) was adopted in this paper to estimate urban impervious surface percentage with mid-high resolution remotely sensed data.
Abstract: A Back Propagation(BP) network algorithm based Genetic Algorithm(GA) was adopted in the article to estimate urban impervious surface percentage.Firstly, the BP and GA models were build with end-members in the pixel.Secondly, the net was trained with the samples selected, the near best net weights set in the global space could be found by GA,and then BP used grads descends method to search the infinitesimal point in local space until find the best net weights set. Finally the trained net was used to emulate the impervious surface percent for the whole image. The Landsat TM data in Beijing region were used to validate the algorithm. The experiment results showed that the algorithm could be used to estimate urban impervious surface percentage with mid-high resolution remotely sensed data.
