Abstract: Neste artigo sao apresentadas reflexoes e analises a respeito das recentes politicas educacionais para a formacao docente no Brasil. O foco sao as diferentes questoes que envolvem os cursos de licenciatura no pais, principalmente, a partir da aprovacao da Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educacao Nacional (lei no 9.394/96). Mais especificamente, sao discutidos os modelos de formacao docente - subjacentes as formulacoes atuais e a serem implementadas -, as demandas para a formacao profissional resultantes das mudancas na educacao basica brasileira, o locus da preparacao de professores e o processo de construcao das diretrizes curriculares para as licenciaturas.

Abstract: The article presents brief critical analysis of the historical of the formation of the education professionals in Brazil, clearing the ambiguities of the course of pedagogy from its creation to the present time, the trajectory of the courses of teachers' formation and the impact of the debates promoted in the institutions, entities, movements, around the subject. In the sequence, the text analyzes the nature and the identity of the pedagogy as an area of knowledge of the educational field and the subjects related to the professional exercise of pedagogues and teachers. It finally indicates suggestions of institutional organization and some possible trajectories of those professionals' formation that point for a change of the current picture.

Abstract: The purpose of this article is the analysis of the new teacher formation policies facing the changes occurred in the job world and based upon the educational policies that they determine since the LDB approval. Showing from the organic character of these policies to the extinction of job vacancies, the flexibilization and the polarization of the competences, the author shows that the formation policies make the construction unviable from the identity of the teacher as na education scientist to constitute him as a "task-man", because of the quickness and the disqualification of his formation. Overall, the author intends to contribute in such a way that the teachers and their organizations establish a minimum negotiation roll with MEC, in order to keep the necessary conditions to a formation that responds to the new workers and the remaining demand.

Abstract: The cycles aren't an isolated proposal any longer, the new LDB legitimated them and they are being adopted by many school nets. This text asks itself about the kind of professional that is being formed in this such kind of pedagogical work organisation. The reflection is structured in 2 parts. The first reflects on the upbringing of thinking over the conceptions and formation practices that take place in the implementation of cycles. The 2nd part reflects about the virtualities that form the whole process of not building the structure centres in the temporalities or Human Development Cycles.

Abstract: From the meaning of the expressions "system of education" and "system of teaching", this article shows the treatment given by the Constituition and by the LDB to the problem of the municipal systems of teaching. It also recovers the historical course of the Brazilian education plans and in a 3rd moment, equate the questions of the relations between system of teaching and plans of education in the bound of the towns, indicating the steps to be followed to the establishment of the towns systems of teaching as well as for the elaboration of the town education plans. The text comes to na end recovering the synthetic of the trajectory of the education plans conceptions, concluding by the necessity of opposing to the financing rationality, that rules the education plans in the present context, the social rationality, i. e., the suitable use of the resources in such a way that accomplish the social value of education.

Abstract: For the dominant sections of the bourgeoisie and the aristocracy, an ethical education ¾ a "good"education ¾ for their daughters, is always a major preoccupation.Instruction, on the other hand, a training for intellectual activity, is considered of secundary importance, as though, in the case of theses girls, the transmission of the economic and cultural capital. The "Notre Dame des Oiseaux" school, is not so much an excepcional case as a bordeline case.With a few concessions to the new bourgeois morality, and thanks to the extreme homogeneity not only of its pupils, but also of its teaching staff and the sisters, the preparation for a specific role ¾ "happy" mother, cultivated wife, with a job but quite prepared to give it up, pious, involved in some charitable activity ¾ remains the most important aspect of the education of young girls of this milieu.

Abstract: Este trabalho procurou comprender as mudancas e as implicacoes no mercado de trabalho, na organizacao e no conteudo do trabalho observadas no processo de reestruturacao produtiva no setor bancario, em Sao Paulo. Para tanto enfocou as especificidades da racionalizacao do trabalho bancario, com o objetivo de analisar as qualificacoes requeridas e observadas em diferentes formas de relacoes empregaticias, em tal reestruturacao. Esta analise considerou as relacoes de genero nos processos produtivos apontados, por compreende-las relevantes e necessarias para este estudo. O desemprego, a terceirizacao do trabalho como forma de precarizacao social, a intensificacao do trabalho e a relativizacao das exigencias de uma "nova qualificacao" do bancario foram os principais resultados discutidos neste artigo.

Abstract: O objetivo deste artigo e apresentar subsidios para uma melhor compreensao da situacao atual do curso de pedagogia no Ensino Superior brasileiro e das dificuldades enfrentadas para a implantacao das novas diretrizes curriculares para esse curso. Iniciamos pela configuracao do contexto em que se coloca o debate das diretrizes, no interior das alteracoes que sofre hoje esse grau de ensino, e com um breve historico do curso de pedagogia no pais. Destaca-se, em seguida, o processo de afirmacao da identidade do profissional da educacao e a construcao da docencia como patamar basico para a sua formacao. Ao final, sao apontadas as diretrizes que o momento historico brasileiro indica para a formacao do pedagogo.

Abstract: The authors discuss, in na essayistic text, the conceptions about subject and subject knowledge to the continued education proposals. Using traditional practices in philosophy, the text is constructed by the interrogation of the terms that compose the title. Analysing the limitations of the modern scientific thinking, faced by the elimination of the time pointer and for the nature reduction to the determinist laws, go forward to the understanding that while the ruptures, provided, by the happening and by the unpredictability, permit the flow of life, giving it the sense of continuity, the discontinuity characteristic of the Brazilian policies, for its constant starting again, in a "zero time", it's the foundation of the continuism.

Abstract: O objetivo do artigo e enquadrar o tema da formacao de educadores de jovens e adultos na problematica mais ampla da constituicao da educacao de jovens e adultos como campo pedagogico. Inicialmente, destaca-se o prejuizo que o tratamento compensatorio e assistencialista acarreta para a construcao da identidade dessa modalidade educativa e a profissionalizacao de seus agentes. Em seguida, sao comentados alguns temas-chave que deveriam ser incluidos na formacao inicial e continua dos educadores de jovens e adultos: a dimensao politica dessa pratica, a funcionalidade das aprendizagens escolares para os jovens e adultos trabalhadores e a consideracao das formas de pensamento que lhes sao caracteristicas. Finalmente, destaca-se a importância de se experimentar novas formas de organizacao do ensino dirigido a jovens e adultos.

Abstract: Os Parques Infantis do Departamento de Cultura da Prefeitura Municipal de Sao Paulo durante os seus tres primeiros anos de funcionamento (1935-1938) na gestao de Mario de Andrade integravam projeto governamental de educacao nao-escolar para as criancas pequenas de familia operaria, por meio do qual lhes foi garantido o direito a infância. A pesquisa sobre o nosso folclore realizada pelo poeta-educador "300-350" e a diversidade etnica brasileira consistiam o principal fundamento dessa experiencia educacional na qual as criancas reviviam as tradicoes populares e, atraves da arte e dos jogos tradicionais infantis, tinham a possibilidade de ser crianca, de viver a especificidade dessa fase da vida. A planta arquitetonica e o regimento interno dos parques estao aqui destacados revelando entre outras caracteristicas elementos para a construcao de uma pedagogia da educacao infantil.

Abstract: The current tendency of the educational reforms, underway during the last decades, in several countries all over the world, has the education and school management as one of their pillars of transformation. The hegemonic position of this reforms defends the beginning of a radical change in the way the management of educational systems are thought of and implemented. Thus, one of the main educational policies in Brazil is the decentralization of both the educational system and the school. The latter promotes the institutional self-management. Researches on educational reforms conducted in several countries indicate a tendency of fragmentation of the educational system as a result of the management policies being applied, sustained by the concepts of autonomy, decentralization, flexibility, individualization, local power, etc. Thus, the construction of a new democratic institutionalization of the school is not taken as a challenge to the new hegemonic model of educational management. On the contrary, the challenge for this new model is defined as the construction of a new way of governing - instrumentally understood and, therefore, seen as having eminently normative and pragmatic contents (Fiori, 1995) - within the educational system and the school contribution for the way of governing of society as a whole.This article intends to analyze the educational policy proposals for school management set forth by government of 11 cities from different areas of Brazil; and to discuss the rationality of these new forms of organization and management. The analysis of proposals involving the school management reforms has been guided by the questions they arise about democracy, centralism, teaching quality and the role of teachers and other agents taking part in the educational process.

Abstract: This work presents the discussion that have oriented the debate about the formation of educational professionals, recuperating the trajectory of the movement of the educators in the struggle for transformation and professionalization of teaching as represented actually by the National Association for the Professional Educators Formation (Anfope), during the last 20 years. The collective construction of common national base in opposition to the formation policies and the proposal of a single school of formation which materializes Anfope's principles for the reorganization of the courses of education professional formation in the universities, have oriented the actual debate of resistence to the official policies that propugnes hastening and fragmentation in the professional teaching formation.

Abstract: O texto trata da politica de formacao profissional para a educacao infantil dos anos 90 configurada pelos cursos de pedagogia e normal superior. A pedagogia historicamente ofereceu a formacao em nivel superior, desde a decada de 1930, demonstrando seu projeto politico-pedagogico, ao aliar a licenciatura ao bacharelado, em cursos que formam concomitantemente o professor e o profissional da educacao infantil, garantindo um espaco pedagogico de interacao entre a formacao geral e a profissional. O curso normal superior, recriado pela lei 9394/96, traz uma polemica ao separar a formacao docente da universitaria, propor um curso com menor tempo de formacao, fragmentar o cuidar do educar e desqualificar o quadro de profissionais responsaveis pelo curso.

Abstract: The central role of evaluation within the context of contemporary educational policies has been the object of many sociological studies, although the signs of their reception in Portugal are still quite tenuous. The present work seeks an understanting of political and economical changes in contexts where the conservative and neoliberal rebirth took place earlier, in order to draw some of their implications over the renewal of the educational and evaluation studies. Since the redefinition of the role of the State and the recovering of the market ideology are two of the essential dimensions of these changes, the role of educational evaluation will be analysed with reference to them. A further (re)articulation will look at evaluation in relation to the community within an emancipatory, rather than regulatory, perspective. From the adopted theoretical framework a succinct reference will be made to the specific nature of changes in educational evaluation occurring in Portugal in the early 90s.

Abstract: The article discusses the possibility of defining a new profile for teachers of early childhood education and the first four years of primary school. There are two different models of teachers that have emerged historically: the one qualified at the secondary level, that teaches all the subject matters, and the other that is qualified at the college or university level, that is especialized by different subjects. The first one works with preschool and primary school children. There is another kind of educator that work in day care centers; in Brazil they generally lack any kind of qualification. In the context of the recent legal and institutional reforms in the educational systems in Brazil, the article discusses the following aspects of the qualification of teachers for children up to 10 years of age: the relationships between theory and practice; the relationships between knowledge of the subjects contents and the knowledge about children's development; secondary or post secondary level of qualification; especialization by sub groups of age between the 0-10 group; and preparation for work with parents and the community. The article also stresses the importance of planning for the transition period until the new levels of qualification are attained.

Abstract: The article analyses the formation of basic education teachers highlighting two events that took place last decade: The World Conference of Education for All and The Directive and Basis Law of the National Education. It evaluates the unrolling coming from these events already mentioned and their influence in the official programs of formation, criticising the tonic in the improvement in restricted service to some areas, having a fragmented content, hastening, with no repercussion in the ambit of valorization policies of teachership, categorizing it as the right of the teacher. It originates the challenge to build up the profile and the identity of the education professional, considering them the actors that act on school and have a link with educative work: teachers and workers of education, having the right to an including formation and with social quality.

Abstract: Actual science is a science of events and occurrences. After Deleuze, studying the difference between event and occurrence in the stoician philosophy, the author characterises several ways to "make science": the double capture which is, in a transcultural vision, related to the god Ogum in the candomble; the dark maturation, related to the goddess Ossae etc. After Spinoza, the question of the local and the universal in the construction of knowledges is examined; after Michel Serres, the problem of articulation between myth and science. Graziela Rodrigues' research, `Bailarino-pesquisador-interprete: Processo de formacao' is an example of an innovated, transcultural and social poetic approach. There's a question left to conclude this article: does the end of colonisation of spirits (and bodies) pass though the creation of a transcultural episteme?

Abstract: Este artigo resgata o avanco das analises teoricas sobre a influencia do "modelo empresarial" no funcionamento do sistema educacional brasileiro, desde os anos da ditadura militar. Ressalta que as experiencias praticas de gestao democratica da educacao basica realizadas em administracoes municipais de carater democratico-popular necessitam ser avaliadas e expandidas para que se materializem as concepcoes avancadas de educacao desenvolvidas pelos setores progressistas que sao assimiladas e ressignificadas pelos grupos hegemonicos que atuam nas tres instâncias de poder politico e administrativo federal, estadual e municipal. Sao apresentados exemplos e sugestoes de encaminhamento politico-pedagogico para acirrar a contradicao diante da politica impositiva do governo, implementada sob a egide do Banco Mundial, de modo que os setores progressistas no cotidiano do funcionamento das escolas e dos sistemas de ensino resgatem os principios, as concepcoes e metodologias que foram diluidos e negados no texto da "LDB oficial" para desenvolver o Plano Nacional de Educacao.

Abstract: The article shows the modern opposition between the official world and the real world related with the policies of teachers formation for basic education, especially for the policies of teachers formation for the initial grades of elementary school. In this article there's a search for alternatives concerning the question: Do these oppositions express respect to citizenship or constitute dispute of power?This same search required na incursion through policies history, of the institutions and of the courses that in the standard pattern, it's been forming teachers to act multidisciplinary in elementary school in our country.Concurrently, it was necessary a foundation in theoretical support that treat the power relationship present in society and in Brazilian schools, which live with the existence of two well defined worlds: the world of the system and another one that's really lived. Such dichotomy is proper from modern societies, and pressupose an interaction game between these worlds, consisting of a powerful and dynamic struggle between the coaction of the political society and the active resistence of the civilian society.

Abstract: O presente artigo trata do genero biografia, associando-o a educacao por meio de um pressuposto: o de que as construcoes biograficas contem uma instrumentalidade educativa, podendo ser apreciadas no contexto de uma pedagogia do exemplo. Parte integrante dos estudos de seu autor que culminaram em tese de doutoramento na UFRJ, o trabalho contem uma sintese historica da trajetoria do genero biografico segundo periodizacao proposta por Madelenat, alem de apresentar uma fundamentacao teorica de analise das biografias apoiada, especialmente, em Wilhelm Dilthey. O artigo pretende, ainda, destacar a pertinencia e a relevância do estudo das construcoes biograficas, notadamente em sua relacao com a educacao.
