An agent-based framework for collaborative negotiation in the global manufacturing supply chain network

TLDR
The multi-agent system paradigm is applied to collaborative negotiation in a global manufacturing supply chain network to solve coordination and negotiation issues involving multiple autonomous or semiautonomous problem solving agents.
Abstract
This paper applies the multi-agent system paradigm to collaborative negotiation in a global manufacturing supply chain network. Multi-agent computational environments are suitable for dealing with a broad class of coordination and negotiation issues involving multiple autonomous or semiautonomous problem solving agents. An agent-based multi-contract negotiation system is proposed for global manufacturing supply chain coordination. Also reported is a case study of mobile phone global manufacturing supply chain management.

Advanced manufacturing systems: socialization characteristics and trends

TL;DR: A tri-view model is established to analyze the evolution and socialization characteristics of AMSs, and it is found that the sharing of manufacturing resources and capabilities, the value creation carriers, thevalue measuring criteria, the composition of the value chain and enterprise collaboration, and the user participation in manufacturing are all moving towards socialization.

Evaluating city logistics measures using a multi-agent model

TL;DR: In this article, a multi-agent RL model for evaluating city logistics measures considering the behaviour of several stakeholders associated with urban freight transport using a multiagent model is presented, and the results indicate that implementing a truck ban directly to environmentally damaged areas and discounting motorway tolls entirely in the urban motorway network together has large environmental effects, and leads to an acceptable environment for all stakeholders.

Modeling Supply Chain Dynamics: A Multiagent Approach

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe a supply chain modeling framework designed to overcome the time and effort required to develop models with sufficient fidelity to the actual supply chain of interest, which is essential to perform risk-benefit analysis of reengineering alternatives before making a final decision.
