Ecological consequences of mechanical harvesting of clams

TL;DR: A field experiment was performed in 1.225 m plots in each of two shallow estuarine habitats, a seagrass bed and a sand flat, to test the impact of clam raking and two different intensities of mechanical harvesting of clams ("clam kicking") for up to 4 years on hard clam recruitment as discussed by the authors.
