TLDR
In this paper, it is shown that the controversy with respect to measurement and interpretation of contact angles is due to the fact that some (or all) of the assumptions made in all energetic approaches are violated when contact angles are measured and processed.

An 'Endless' Route to Cyclic Polymers

TL;DR: A new synthetic route to cyclic polymers has been developed in which the ends of growing polymer chains remain attached to a metal complex throughout the entire polymerization process, eliminating the need for linear polymeric precursors and high dilution, and removing the barrier to producing large quantities of pure cyclic material.

Trending Questions (2)
Why non polar solvent contact angle is zero for caco3 surfaces?

The provided paper does not mention anything about the contact angle of non-polar solvents on CaCO3 surfaces.

Why the contact angle of drill cloth does not increase?

The contact angle of drill cloth does not increase because the assumption of constant solid surface tension is violated.
