TLDR
In this paper, a low cost micro facet solar concentrator is proposed, where large number of small flat mirrors are placed at parabolic surface to approximate large parabolic mirror, and geometric analysis shows that this concentrator will have concentration rate of some hundreds suns. Rough estimations show that the cost of the concentrator should be approximately $ 55 per square meter of concentrator surface.
Abstract
The low cost micro facet solar concentrator is proposed. Large number of small flat mirrors is situated at parabolic surface to approximate large parabolic mirror. Low cost commercial flat mirrors can be used for manufacturing of such concentrator. Geometrical analysis show that this concentrator will have concentration rate of some hundreds suns. Rough estimations show that the cost of the concentrator should be approximately $ 55 per square meter of concentrator surface.

Method and device for mirrors position adjustment of a solar concentrator

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors developed a technology with different processes to realize an optimal solar approach using a solar concentrator where distance screws are used that, when moving, allow the positioning of the mirrors whereby the reflected solar beam is directed to a focal point; the advantage of these processes is that each movement of the screws involves adjusting the position of all the neighboring mirrors.
