Double-exposure speckle interferometry with ``instant'' Polaroid film

TLDR
In this paper, the use of instant Polaroid film has been used to perform double-exposure speckle interferometry with conventional photographic materials, permitting rapid non-destructive tests with a very simple set-up.

Interferometric displacement measurement on scattering surfaces utilizing speckle effect

TL;DR: In this article, the distribution of intensity in the resultant pattern depends on the relative phases of the component patterns, and by measuring the correlation between the resultant patterns at two different times a change of relative phase is detected.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recording of In-plane Surface Displacement by Double-exposure Speckle Photography

TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured local displacements in the plane of an object surface illuminated by coherent light by recording double-exposure photographs of it and using the optical transform of the negative image.

Holographic and Video Techniques Applied to Engineering Measurement

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a coherent optical metrology approach based on speckle pattern interferometry with optical to electronic interfacing by means of a modified closed-circuit television arrangement.

A Review of Speckle Photography and Interferometry

TL;DR: A review of speckle interferometry techniques can be found in this article, where the authors set the various techniques into context, point out their similarities, and delineate their differences.
