Reduction potentials involving inorganic free radicals in aqueous solution

TL;DR: In this article, the reduction potentials involving inorganic free radicals in aqueous solution were discussed and a tabulation of ∆ f G ° values for all the radicals was presented.

Electron transfer reactions in organic chemistry

TL;DR: The electron transfer reaction between two species of different chemical composition has been studied extensively in the literature as discussed by the authors, where electron transfer reactions constitute the basis of theoretical treatments of electron transfer and self-exchange reactions.

Catalytic Epoxidation of Hindered Olefins with Dioxygen. Fast Oxygen Atom Transfer to Olefin Cation Radicals from Nitrogen Oxides

TL;DR: Hindered olefins are efficiently converted to epoxides by dioxygen at 25 °C in dichloromethane containing catalytic amounts of nitrogen oxides as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nitrosonium (NO+) initiated and cation radical-mediated imino Diels–Alder reaction

TL;DR: In this paper, an efficient aza-Diels-Alder reaction of N-arylimines with N-vinylpyrrolidinone was achieved using nitrosonium tetrafluoroborate as a cation radical initiator.

Theory of Stationary Electrode Polarography. Single Scan and Cyclic Methods Applied to Reversible, Irreversible, and Kinetic Systems.

TL;DR: In this paper, the integral equations obtained from the boundary value problems were solved and extensive data were calculated which permit construction of stationary electrode polarograms from theory, making it possible to develop diagnostic criteria so that unknown systems can be characterized by studying the variation of peak current, half-peak potential, or ratio of anodic to cathodic peak currents as a function of rate of voltage scan.

Acid-Base Equilibria in Acetonitrile. Spectrophotometric and Conductometric Determination of the Dissociation of Various Acids1

TL;DR: In this paper, the over-all dissociation constants of these acids were determined spectrophotometrically with the aid of indicator bases and conductometrally for H2SO4 and picric acid.
