Equivalence classes of minimum uncertainty packets
TLDR
In this article, it was shown that all minimum-uncertainty packets are unitarily equivalent to the coherent states and that coherence may be viewed as stationary minimality, and a new calculation of some matrix elements of the operator that implements the unitary equivalence was given.Abstract:
In a previous paper we have shown that all minimum-uncertainty packets are unitarily equivalent to the coherent states and that coherence may be viewed as stationary minimality. In this note we give some additional information relating to the nature of the unitary-equivalence structure. We also give a new calculation of some matrix elements of the operator that implements the unitary equivalence which is not subject to the shortcoming inherent in the original calculation.read more

Two-photon coherent states of the radiation field
TL;DR: In this paper, the concept of two-photon coherent states is introduced for applications in quantum optics, which is a simple generalization of the well-known minimum-uncertainty wave packets.

Squeezed states of light
TL;DR: The properties of a unique set of quantum states of the electromagnetic field are reviewed in this article, and proposed schemes for the generation and detection of squeezed states as well as potential applications are discussed.

Coherent states: Theory and some Applications
TL;DR: In this article, a general algorithm for constructing coherent states of dynamical groups for a given quantum physical system is presented, and the result is that the coherent states are isomorphic to a coset space of group geometrical space.

Quantum Brownian motion: The functional integral approach
TL;DR: In this paper, the quantum mechanical dynamics of a particle coupled to a heat bath is treated by functional integral methods and a generalization of the Feynman-Vernon influence functional is derived.

'Nonclassical' states in quantum optics: a 'squeezed' review of the first 75 years
TL;DR: A review of studies performed in the field of non-classical states can be found in this article, with a focus on the evolution of Gaussian wave packets for an oscillator, a free particle and a particle moving in uniform constant electric and magnetic fields.
